Phoebe was 25lbs last time she wad weighed and is 33in long- that was about five weeks ago. I know other babies her age and their is so much variance in their sizes.

my son was born oct 8th and he has slowed down on his gaining, due mostly to the fact that he is super active, he was 23 and half pounds about 2 weeks ago, but is in the 97th percentile for hight and weight so I think that your little girl is doing perfectly fine! my son was also 8lbs 9 oz at birth. Good luck with the almost 1 yr old I think she is perfect!

My daughter was born on Oct. 16th and was 6lbs 3oz. She is 11 months old today and was last weighed on 9/11/09 weighing in at 20lbs 1oz.

Our son weighs 19.1lbs. at 10 months and a week :) We was 8.5 when he was born on October 26th 2008. The best day of my life :)

My lil one is 26 pounds... but I think he's on the chunky side. He's the biggest out of all my babies, but was only 6 lbs 13oz at birth.

My daughter was also born on the 13th. She was 5lbs 12 oz when she was born (and termed "small for gestational age" (I was 5 lbs 3 oz when I was born!). Still at the 5th percentile I think. She's about 17 lbs now--eats like a racehorse, but now she's getting a little bit fussy. As long as she has sweet potatoes, yogurt and mangoes, it's all good! LOL!

Tatum was last weighed on Aug. 4th (at her 9 month Check up)....and she weighed
21lbs. 6oz....she was born on October 24th...so she just now turned 10 months.....the doctor told me that she was in the 84% percentile in weight....

Just had Holly weighed this morning. She is now 11 m.o. (born on the 1st Oct) and is weighing in @ 8.29 kgs (18lb 4oz) and is measuring in @ 71 cms (28"). Still quite petite..LOL.

my daughter was born on the 13th as well, and she was 7lb15 and a half born and is now 21lb 9ozs! weighed yesterday!! so i would say your baby is doing well!

thanks for your replys lisa she isnt failure to thrive anymore it was because at 5 months she was only just over 9lbs now she is doing better shes not classed as that sorry for confusion.x

Both of my girls, just under 16lb at ten months, neither failure to thrive. My first, 23lb at three years, so it's all genetics. My second just started walking at ten months on the dot, and has been crawling since 5 1/2 months.

lily was born on the 4th at 9 months she was 20 pounds 4 ounces... now that genetics are hitting in her weight gain is slowly plus since we figured out she has a milk allergy she's no longer nursing herself till she vomits in an attempt to make herself feel better

my son born on the 25th had a check up on friday and was 21lbs 7oz and 73 cm tall (the ped still says we're on the small side but he always has been)
he gained 6 lbs in 3 months though so he's catching up FAST!

My daughter is 23 lbs. She was over 9 lbs at birth though and she is very tall. She has never had problems with eating. Sounds like your daughter is doing well. My little girl will be 11 months on the 8th.

I had twins on the 16th and they are now about 19 1/2lbs and almost 26lbs so I would say she's on track b/c my niece who's just a few wks younger is about 17lbs
