What Are You Planning For Your October Baby's 2nd Birthday Party?

1. We are having a small party as she is still too young to understand the significance. Have saved money for a grand party on her 3rd birthday.

2. Yes I will be having a theme. Havnt finalized yet but theme will be there.

3. Yes balloons will be there but limited so that we can indentify every blowup piece and throw it right away.

4. I will buy the a week before her birthday.

1- Small family/friends gathering.
2- I have many themes on my mind, haven't decided! (Bubble Guppies, Thomas the Train, Team Umizomi, uff hard!)

This might seem a little weird to a lot of people.
1)No party at all. Myself, my husband and our daughter live on the other side of the province from all family.
2)No theme, I just plan on making her some butterfly and ladybug shaped cupcakes.
3)No balloons, her last set of teeth are coming in and shes biting everything in sight.
4)I haven't purchased anything. We're currently living solely on what little I earn plus my husbands learning grants (had to go back to school for retraining) food over toys she doesn't need.
5) Most special gift(s) are from my mom and dad. For every special occasion they're putting minimum 500$ into a savings account for her education. She already has enough for a full years tuition plus books.

When you can't afford big parties and presents, you begin to truly appreciate how much more family means. When she's older, for every new book or toy she gets given, one will be donated to a family that also can't afford presents.

1) We're having a friends and family party.

2) No theme, just fun.

3) No balloons, there will be a couple brand new babies there and my son likes to pop balloons.

4) We got him a few things in advance. Things we know he'll love and they're on sale or selling fast so we just picked them up.

5) No specific gifts - lots of toy story things cause he's obsessed with Buzz Lightyear.



His birthday is on Halloween so we're having the party the day before. And then on his birthday we're going all out with the decorations and trick or treating and then going to the hall for him to play with all the kids there.

Frankie Marie's will be two on Halloween. I am planning on taking her and her 5 year-old sister to the Indianapolis Zoo. She loves the animals and the Zoo is having all of the children dress up in their costumes. We'll do an intimate dinner with cake at home. We will absolutely have balloons for her. Probably a animal theme of some kind, then off for trick or treating.

Were having my daughters birthday party at a park where we live..she has got alot of people coming..so far its a princess theme and cake and all kinds of balloons and presents..Were celebrating it on the 17th

we are so glad to be celerbraing our sons 2 yrs birthday party....we'll invite family and friends to come to our house for a meal,cake and ice cream,,,might even have a jumpy house 4 the kiddos and gifts too! def balloons are a big thing with our kids not sure of the theme yet!

Hey
My daughter's 2nd bday party was on Sunday
this is waht we did, and it was marvelous:
1- there was about 20 people in total. Famiyl and close freinds, and a few children her age (my other mommy freind's kids)
we had it at our apartment
2- no theme..just fun for the kids and very colourful. they dont care baout themes LOL (tho, there was a lot of Dora wrapping paper!)
YESSS balloons. with helium. they LOVED them.
I did NOT purchase any gifts for her yet. Her bday isnt til Wed. We didnt want to get her something that was the same as someone else... and then we also get to give her her gifts together on her real birthDAY.
She got a lot of great stuff. a dora trycicle. a baby desk/easle. clothes. art stuff. leap frog stuff. books. all really great. she loves the ride-on toys and the fridge phonics the best so far.

Hello Brooke

Julian's birthday is on holloween one of my fav holidays so I go all out 20-30 ppl with a Spiderman theme, food, 3D cake, actvities and prizes . I start planing the beginning of September. I do buy one special gift for him if I can get it on sale before his birthday I will buy it, but if it is regular price no big hurry. He got his own lazy boy chair this year my be a wagon.

Hello to everyone....I've still got the whole month to plan everything...well a few weeks anyway! - October 30!!! (I'm pretty much a last minute type of person....IDK Y I do this 2 myself?!) But I do have alot ideas!! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for games to play at the B-day parties? Not only 4 the little ones but for a few older ones maybe as well?...or should I even attempt to do games?

We are not having a big party but it will be family and friends. We are going to have a Thomas the train party, my son loves the trains! We have already bought him tons of thomas the train stuff, he has a train toddler bed, clothes, trains, books, movies. So I think for a special gift we are going to get him a Step 2 creative arts project table. He already has tons of thomas stuff! We didn't purchase gifts in advance but we have definitly window shopped! And of course we will have balloons he loves them!

Hi everyone,
I am new here but for my sons 2nd birthday we decided on something with the immediate family meaning my son, husband and I, we are taking him to the happiest place on earth DISNEYLAND! We will invite our family and friends but they must buy their own ticket. We chose this option simply because we are too busy to coordinate an actual party and my son is really into disney characters I think it will be a magical day!

1. We are doing a small intimate family and close friends kind of party. We went all out for his 1st and no need to do that again at this point.
2. No theme. We are saving that until he’s a bit older.
3. I'm sure we will have balloons :)
4. We have not bought gifts just yet but plan to the weekend before his party.
5. We are getting him a keyboard. He loves to play the piano at his grandma's house and loves music so we're going with a keyboard. :)

I am very funny about the balloons! They scare me so bad, but were going to have a few to decorate the bases for the baseball game in our backyard so even little kids can see the bases. But once were done I will be happy to put them up! : ) It is a very classic theme, and very shocked how much he loves sports at 23 months old! It's so amazing how he has he's own personality and own interests.

1. We are planning just immediate family, but for us is big. We both have a large set of immediate family so we prefer not to invite more (since we'll already have a house full)
2. The theme this year is Basketball, Baseball and Football.

we dont live in the same country as family otherwise it would of been a family party but instead we have abour 12 friends over with their mommies/daddies. the theme thomas the tank engine, yes with balloons. thomas the tank engine wooden playtable and set with a few trains, got a bit carried away and overspent really costing about £200. i am so excited about seeing his face in the morning of his birthday :D x

For our Rabbit we are

1) Family gathering. Just the in home family unit, and moms side of the family. They live nearby and are often over anyhow.
2) Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
3) I fear balloons with under 3s. so no, likely not.
4) Oh yes, about a month in advance
5) I found a Garanimals wood toy fun chest at walmart that I can find NOWHERE ELSE! It is wonderful! It has all of the Geranimals wood toys and was less then $20 Clearance.
