My daugther was born at 38 weeks but was almost born at 33 weeks with premature labour. Her older sister was born prematured at 35 weeks in May of 2008.

my second one was a premmy i was suppposed to have her in november but she came early now it dont even look like she was premature because she jus as healthy as she wanna be

My son was born at 26weeks last July. He was however due in October, hence my joining this community. He spent 2 months in hospital and came home on oxygen. He had a PDA and 2xASD, grade I and grade II IVH, he still suffers from severe reflux which affects his CLD. Other than that, he is doing quite well. He is now 9 months old (6 months corrected) and has just started sitting unsupported.

My oldest only spent 10 days in the NICU. My youngest daughter spent 5 days in the NICU because she was having trouble breathing.

My daughter was born in May 2009 at 27 weeks. She spent 11 weeks in the NICU and come home on oxygen and an apnea monitor. She's now 9 months old and couldn't be more perfect! She has BPD (most preemies have it that were born this early I hear; it has basically the same symptoms as asthma as well as the same treatment) and did have Retinopathy of Prematurity (I also heard 90% of "micropreemies" have this), but she grew out of it and just passed her eye exam at the opthomologist last month! Do you have your little one home yet??

My oldest daughter is now 2 years old and she was born at 34 weeks. My youngest daughter is 4 months and she was born right at 37 weeks.

I had twins on October 19th. They were born at 34 weeks. My first baby was premie too, born at 36 weeks. LOL-I guess I can't ever do anything the normal way! LOL

My son Eli wasn't premature, but what they call near-term. He was born at 38 weeks.

They induced me due to high blood pressure. He had a hole in lung when he was born but he's all better now.

How's your little girl doing? Have you been able to bring her home yet?

Not my October 2009 babe, but my older one (17 months now) was born at 32 weeks. Hang in there-- it's tough but they're all the more wonderful when they're older because you remember how little and sick they were.
