just to update everyone. I am now 38 weeks 4 days along. I went into the dr. this morning and im already measuring 40 weeks..i got in monday morning to get induced so we shall see what he weighs..i will keep posted

my first was born at 36 weeks weighing 4lb 2oz but she stopped growing between 28 and 34 weeks, im 39 weeks pregnant today, due 7th october and the midwives think shes gonna be round about 6lb 9oz - 7lb 9oz but they arent always accurate

at my 36 week scan my little man was measuring at 7lbs and his head is measuring in the 100th percentile. This is my first baby and I'm a tiny woman so I don't know what to expect. I'm guessing he'll be about 8lbs or so though.

Im 35 weeks and my little girl is about 5 1/2 lbs, which doesnt supprise me. My first was born at 37 weeks and weighed 6lbs 12 oz, and my c-section is now scheduled for 37 weeks again so I am thinking she will weigh close to what her brother did.

My first babe was born a week overdue an weighed 9 pounds 8oz. When i went for my 36 week scan they told me this babe was measuring around 6 pounds. We shall see when lil baby makes an appearence!!

I went for my scan yesterday, at 35 weeks 5 days. They said she weighed 5lbs 11oz. They said she should be a little over 7lbs. when shes born. I dont know how accurate they truly are on guessing the weight. I take it as just a round about guess!!!

don't really think the scans can be too accurate with actual weight... i'm just hoping for healthy :0)

Two weeks ago, I had an scan at 36 weeks she weighted 4 lbs 8oz. With only a month till the due date i was really hoping she would get another pound on her. I think its better to have a bigger one than to worry about being under weight. My first was 5lbs 15oz, I had no idea she was that small till birth. She was in preemies for three weeks. This time i've started preparing for the same. Good luck to you.

I just got an ultrasound @ 35wks and they said 5lbs 14oz. I dont know if I trust it though b/c my sister had an ultrasound on a monday sayin 6lb 9oz and my niece was born that friday weighing 7lb 5oz!

i had a growth scan done at 36 weeks and they said my lil one was approx 8lbs 3oz, my first was 8lbs 7 n half at term so im not too worried, getting another scan on the 22nd to see how much she has put on since as shes breech and going to try turn her, i'm happy shes going to be a big healthy chubby baba

At 35 wks with my 1st pregnancy they said he was already 8lb 6oz, he was born at 37wks and was 7lb 15oz. This baby was measuring 5lb 9oz at 33 wks so they think another one on the larger side but I'm not convinced with the scans. My son measured so high because he was 22 inches at birth, so we'll see if this one is tall again or just cute and chubby. Good luck!

When I was 32 weeks my OB did a scan and said my baby was 4 lbs 14 ozs...My first was 7lbs 13 1/2 ozs when she was born...
I'm kinda scared this one will be above the 8lb mark, but at least I know she's healthy!!!

have never had a doctor do a scan and tell me the weight, i'm only just hearing about this kind of thing now... i'm in oz so maybe it's different here. My doc does a growth scan to check the size etc at 34 weeks. will have to ask if he can tell how heavy bub is :)
