Another breech baby......

hi ladies, im now expecting my 2nd child,

i have a son dean anyway during his pregnancy he was a breech baby.

*frank breech position* we had a ECV *External cephalic version*

done, sucessfully he was turned by the doctor at 37 weeks and born at 38 weeks..



Well with our little girl we where told that she is now breech aswell, so she has under 8 weeks to turn her self, i dont think she will but there is always hope. she is in a *incomplete breech position*, i know that the longer you go the harder bub is to turn because they end up runny out of room ect; i'm hoping this next ECV will work if i need it done.



if no one understands what a ECV is, it's where a doctor touches your stomach and manually moves your baby from breech position to the head down position.



* [frank breech] is bottom down feet directly up.

* [incomplete breech] is bottom down and one leg up infront of bubs face and one leg down.



Anyone yet been told there bubs are breech ?

if so what breech position r they in ??

I am currently 32 weeks, due October 7th. My baby is breech, I believe he/she turned around about 3 days ago when I felt flip flops and summer saults.. the baby was head down at 21 weeks and I could feel knees and feet kicking up to 3 days ago. Now i feel jabs into the cervix area and a big bump which is the head just under my ribs. This is my 4th baby and none of the other ones have done this. My midwife is convinced the baby has turned breech at my last appt. So midwife said at 36 weeks we will ultrasound and then at 37 weeks do ECV if the baby hasn't yet turned. I believe my baby is frank breech but I could be wrong since theres been no ultrasound yet.

my last was breech and there was no way i was going to try to deliver him breech... this one keeps turning still but doesn't really matter cause i'll have another c-section anyway

well im 30 weeks and still now change but as bub gets bigger and bigger the harder and the smaller the babys chances are turning by themselves. we will see, let me know how you all go!

dont forget most hospitals do breech deliverys, my doctor said that his done plenty b4 and the hips are as wide as bubs head is, so keep that in mind to every1..
and i think id rather some stitches than a c section, but thats just my opinion, hopfully the ecv works first

wow I didnt know that. Thanks for the info. I had no idea. So i'm almost 28 weeks, on my next check up will the doctor check to see if my baby is in the right position? She hasn't checked it before...

Hey i was told at my 20 week scan that my babys also breech, but nothing else has been said about it.. i always feel movements and kicks down real low 'pelvic area' so im guessing he's still breech. I'm hoping he does decide to movee sooner rather than laterr. xx

At my last ultrasound I was told that my baby is "Footling Breech" that is where the bottom is down and the feet are also down.

I haven't been told my baby's breach but I'm at almost 29 weeks and I can still feel the baby moving from head down to head up (although it's starting to slow down a little). At both ultrasounds I've had after 20 weeks our little girl was head down then head up.

I hope it works this time for you!
