My daughter smiled from day one, but didn't smile with her eyes open until the 4th week. Since then she has smiled every single day at us when she wakes up and she is smiling and laughing about 20 times a day. She sure does not take after her mother! lol

My daughter laughed for the first time on Friday night for her godfather, it was adorable! She's done it a few times for me since, but I notice she laughs more for men (this is a tad bit worrisome as I know I will probably have my hands full in about 13 years haha).

My 3 month old has been laughing and giggling since mid-December. He loves playing in his Jumperoo and tummy time with me, my hubby and/or his older sister. Just talking with him and he will giggle and smile based upon the tone of our voices. It's great!

My little guy has such a great disposition. He has been so smiley for such a long time. I only have to talk to him or look at him and he smiles like crazy. Hes always staring and watching everything. He knows mom and dads face. But no giggling or laughing yet hes only 2.5 months.

mine has been laughing, oohing and aweing at just about everything that catches her attention. I catch her laughing at the dog when he's laying next to her, I think she thinks his snoring is ammusing. She especially loves smiling at her mobile in her swing or crib.

My son started over the holidays. It was really all at once. He would smile randomly after eating during most of his second month, but never at anything I did. Then, one morning, I was playing with him and he started smiling, a couple days later he started laughing. It takes a while. Just try to be patient and keep talking to her and making funny faces, one day you'll get a response, but you have to keep stimulating her.

my son is 3 months old too and i can get some laughs out of him by tickling him under his nek and by his underarms. he also been trying to talk it takes him a minute to build it up and not much comes out but his dr. heard him and said he is probably going to talk early.
