Avent vs. Medela

I'm trying to choose a breast pump. What advice would you ladies give when comparing these two brands? Any information is greatly appreciated!

I had a advent hand pump and hated it. It took hours to get the same amount of milk I got from my Medela pump. Before buying the Medela I also tried a safety first eletric pump, but the thing wasn't the same quality and died after my first son. After all of that I switched to my Medela pump and couldn't be happier; I used it with my second son and am planning on using it again with my little girl. Hope this helps.

I had an avent hand pump and I liked that a lot and then I rented a Medela electric pump and that was also very good. So unfortunately I'm not much help. Good luck choosing!
