Baby registry . . . .

I say DO IT! Doesn't matter if this is your first baby or your 4th, creating a registry isn't just about asking people to buy for you, but a great way to keep track of the things you need. I am expecting my 2nd son, my husband and I just registered this weekend and we put big ticket items on the registry as well. Its a great way for friends and family to see what you need/want and chip in if they can/want/wish ect. It also gives people the opportunity to go in together and get you something you really need instead of all the super cute things you want but can live without right away. No worries! have fun with it and good luck! Oh and Babies R Us is awesome about giving you discounts on what is left on your registry, and Target is great if you have to return anything from your registry with or without a receipt.

I was gonna mention what Lynda said about BRU. They will give you a coupon for a discount off stuff that is still on your registry so anything not bought you can save some $$ on. With my first 3 I registered and kind of used it as a list of things I needed even though esp with #3 I wasn't expecting people to buy stuff. This time around though it's a girl and even if I register I feel like no one will want to buy the things we need they'll just want to buy the pink frilly stuff. Have fun I think it's fun picking out stuff and putting it on the registry.

I registered for everything. It lets your family and friends know what you need and sometimes you can get a discount on the things people didn't by you just because they're left on your registry. I'm speaking of Babies R Us of course. I've had some luck though. As soon as I find a great deal that I can't pass on, I buy it and take it off my registry. Good luck and Congratulations!!!

I say register for them, sometimes parents like to buy them for you, or others close to you. With my first my husband and I just asked for some of the things for Christmas.
When you buy them, just make sure they get taken off the registry.
