im on bed rest for surgery because of my cervix, im dilating slowly so lat pregnancy was on bedrest for 7 months. this time now 5 :(

So sorry for your loss. I went to the ER monday with bleeding and cramping and have the subchorionic hematoma, as well. Heard the heartbeat, but I still don't feel right about the pregnancy. On pelvic rest and just waiting....

Well ladies, I started bleeding more on monday. They did a scan and the baby was doing great, but I lost the baby yesterday. The hemorhage had cleared up so not sure exactly what happened. I want to wish you all good luck and a happy healthy pregnancy.

Im sorry to hear that! Best of luck! I was on bedrest with my first pregnancy and I know it was no fun. But the end prize is well worth it. I hope it resolves itself and all works out!

Good luck to all you mommies on bedrest!! I have never been, nor do I wish to be on bedrest...But you all are in my prayers for the remainders of our pregnancies!!

Thanks I will keep you updated. This is my 3rd pregnancy, I miscarried with the first then got pregnant with my son. It was an easy pregnancy and I am scared to death that I am going to lose this baby. I am hoping for the best, good luck to you too.

I did have this with my second pregnancy and possibly my first too, but undiagnosed. With my second I was on bedrest for almost a month and the bleed resolved. Ava was full term and healthy. A little lower birthweight than my first. I do not know if that was a factor of the SCH or not. For now, I am expecting follow up U/S and hopefully for the baby to grow and the area of bleed to be smaller. Not sure how long the bedrest will be this time. Just depends on how things go. Jaime- let me know how your U/S goes on the 8th. Best of luck to you! Courtney- so glad the placenta moved for you.

Your not alone. I was told wednesday that I have the same thing. I am not on complete bedrest yet but was told to rest as much as I can. I have been spotting on and off since monday. I have another ultrasound on the 8th, I have no idea what to expect. Did you have the same thing with your other children and if so what can I expect from this?

I was on bedrest with my second child. I had a placenta previa and the placenta had torn so I had a pretty bad bleed. I was on bedrest for about 3 weeks then everything was fine after that. I had a ultrasound in my second trimester and the placenta had moved. How long are you going to be on bedrest?
