Hi to all the expecting october mums out there! I was just wanting to get a bit of a general idea how much weight people have gained so far.
I had my 17 week check up yesterday and here in Germany you get weighed every time. (All the info from your visits then goes in a mummy book so you always have it with you.)
I just realised that I have put on 4kgs and was wondering if anyone else knows how much they have put on??

when i was first weighed at 12 weeks i was 80.25 kg, got weighed yesterday and im only 82.2 kg and im now 36 weeks, i was a bit worried but babys measuring 8lbs 3 ounces already so they arnt worried about it as it appears to be me whos lost weight, strange though as i put on 3 stone with my first baby

I'm 35.5 weeks with my 2nd. and i have gained 52lbs. but with my 1st i only gain 17 lbs.

i was overweight when i found out i was pregnant. i'm now 32 weeks and i steadily lost 0.5-1kg a week for the first 15 weeks due to really bad morning sickness. so now i'm 10kg lighter than when i started out! i've recently been written off work and struggling to walk with really bad siatica, so we'll see how much i put on in the next 8 weeks...

hehe...I am 32 weeks and gained 15 kilograms!!! I swore that I wouldn't put on as much as my first pregnancy...it snuck up on me that is for sure! At least my hubby has put on some sympathy weight so I am not the only roley-poley in the house ;D

32 weeks and I have gained 14 lbs total with 5 lbs being in the last week (yuck!) Doc says the big increase is because of the swelling in my legs...

I started off at about 120-125ish, but had a rough first trimester, at my first prenatal I had been down to 114lbs and my doctor was concerned, she said she wanted to see me at about 155 for delivery.. Looks like shes getting her wish as of right now I'm 31 weeks and 143lbs

I've gained 30. Being high risk I'm not allowed to work out while I'm pregnant.. so.. the lbs came on rather quick.

im 29 wks and was messured 31inches on my belly and have only gained 19lbs hoping to stay under 30 lbs this is my second and with my first i blew up gained 65 lbs ! normal weight gain is 25-35 lbs ! depending on your size i started out 170lbs and now weigh 189 lbs! im due oct, 27th! my first child was 8.9Lbs and 21 inches.

Hi Kelly, my name is Nadia and I am now 29 weeks pregnant. Since I got pregnant I'v gained 13.3 kg so yeah this baby is realy making me fat hehehehe...

im due oct. 10th and i gained about 15 pounds total so far in this pregnancy. with my other son i gained 50 pounds so im doing alot better.

Update: At 30 weeks I've gained 24 lbs total... up from only 19 lbs at 28 weeks... That's 5 lbs in only two weeks. Also, my belly went from 29 inches to 32 inches during that two weeks. I think the baby had a growth spurt! :)

At 29 weeks I have gained about 20 pounds. But, the doctor says that its almost all baby, & water from my swollen hands & feet. He also says that its nothing to worry about since up to 35 would be healthy from my starting weight. (Im talking in Pounds here.)

in the beginning i didnt eat much at all, im a little over 29 weeks and ive gained 28lbs, which the doctor said is really healthy...:)

ugh i feel so fat....mostly every one has gained 4-15 pounds i on the other hand started at 156 and now that i am 31 weeks pregnant i weigh at 190..i was eating alot but now towards the end i dnt eat as much...bah humbug..hopefully this weight will b lost wen i giv birth if i keep my portions of food to a limit

My last Doctors apt was July 13th. I started out at 120 pounds and now my weight is 151.5, I have horses and do barn work, house clean, and work so I do not no why I gained so much weight? Everyone I talk to or see thinks I am going to be having the baby a month early. I think maybe I more into my pregnany then everyone thought?

I'm 28 weeks and Ive put on a total of 20 pounds so far.... I'm estimating I'll probably put on a total of 35 to 40.. well thats what I'm hoping!

i get weighed every appointment as well, here in iowa. i lost a significant amount of weight (10 pounds in a month) and they asked me if i was TRYING to lose weight, but i had been really sick with tonsilitis then subsequently mono. So in all reality ive only gained about.... 10 pounds and im almost 28 weeks along.

i know all about the people thinking your going to pop any minute... i'm not due for another 3 months!!! I am exactly the same weight as when i started but my tummy is sooo big!!!

I had my 26 wk checkup last week and I'm technically still 1/2 lb down from my first prenatal checkup. But I've been putting on a lb a week or so for the last 2-3 weeks.

I am with you, amy :) I am 26 weeks with my second pregnancy and have put on 10kgs. I was desperate to not put on as much as with my daughter's pregnancy 3 years ago. It has crept up though! I also feel: 'Yikes'! But, as they say 11kg - 17kg is healthy (I keep reminding myself too) haha

I am 23 weeks pregnant and 144 lbs, so I've gained exactly 20 lbs so far. Probably more than I should be, but I enjoy giving in to my cravings (and lately it's been cupcakes and pie, lol).

I am due october 17th.
My weight bounces up and down though,
But as of now im in my 24th week and have gained 25 lbs.
Im trying to prevent as much weight gain as possible though.

Wow, everyone is losing weight! I'm at about 25 weeks with my second baby and I've gained about 15 lbs. I started out a little under weight and last pregnancy I gained 40 lbs per my dr's recomendation, so we'll see if I hit the big 4 0 again by the end.

I am @ 24 weeks, with my third baby and I have lost 6 lbs. I was overweight before getting pregnant, and have been extremely nauseated almost the entire time. With my first I gained about 50 lbs, with my second I gained about 15,but my second was 6 wks premature. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different! Good Luck!

I'm 23 weeks and have gained 12 pounds, (husband has gained 10 lol!) I lost 10 pounds the first month, i had a extreme case of morning sickness. Since I lost 10 pounds at first and have gained 12 since then could I say I have only gained 2 pounds? I couldn't even hold water down, and my stomach was so empty i wasn't even throwing up stomach acid. The water would go down long enough to get warm and come right back up. Still getting sick at my stomach a little everyday, and throwing up at least once a week. I can eat and hold it down now. With my first I had morning sickness, but not like this was at first. My second I didn't have any morning sickness.
