Is anyone else having preterm labor?? I was in about 10 days ago with contractions every 5mins then 3 than 1 to 3 mins, they were able to stop it with Terbutaline and I went home with no more problems til last night. Last night they started at every 3 mins and got progressively stronger. 2 shots of Terb, muscle relaxer and 3 attempts at an IV and the contractions just got further apart and lighter. So they sent me home since I'm 35 wks and not dilating very much, now I've been having contractions every 5 to 10 mins all day, just not very strong. Now I'm on bedrest til my next doc appt, but how much rest do you get with a 2 yr old running around??? LOL!

I'm not having preterm labor, but my water did break already at 34 weeks (last week) but since I havent gone into labor, my dr has admited me to the hospital and has scheduled my c section for the day I turn 37 weeks, so we are just hoping to hold her in untill then!!

I completely understand, terb is horrible!!!! Good luck and I hope you make it to at least 37wks. I thought I would be done by now at 37 1/2wks but nope still preggo and only 1cm so the waiting continues!

i was just in the hospital on thursday with contractions, but since i am just now 35 weeks, they gave me the iv, and 3 inj of terb. that stuff is awful and I NEVER want that again! I went home feeling like my heart was gonna jump out and my chest was going to collapse! They told me there is no way they will let me have the baby early unless i am fully dialated. so hopefully oct 19th comes soon because I am on my feet ALL day long, i am a medical assistant and rarely get a chance to relax. I have been to the hospital 3times in the last 3 months.

i had pre-term labour at 33 weeks 3 days. i was 3 cms dilated and having mild contractions. they stopped the contractions now I'm 36 weeks today and sitting at 3cms with mild bulging membranes. hopefully labour is around the corner

I had the same issue and i also have a 2yr old so i know what you mean i have 3 more weeks till im 37 and then i will be ok. My daughter came at 37wks so i think her sister is coming then to.

i had my baby 3 wks ago. he was born at 29wks 2days gestation. he is in scbu at the moment. he is doing well. they didnt stop my labour. i was 5 cm dilated. had to have a c section as the baby was transverse.
