sick of the changing due dates????????

but my LMP, estimated ovulation dates and the only date i had sex the month we conceived, i put my due date as the 24th october. 1st ultrasound said 7th november, 2nd said 3rd november. on the 3rd the tech said the first ultrasound is the most accurate and stuck with the 7th. no doctors would listen to me and i started panicking because they won't induce me until i'm 10 days overdue. and if i'm already 2 weeks overdue by my dates, i'd be neary 4 weeks overdue before they would do anything.
so when i went for my first midwife appointment i put my foot down and said there was NO WAY that the baby was due past the 27th october. she agreed straight away that i was probably right and we agreed that my due date should be 26th of october. the doctor wasn't happy, but he's been told to shut up and put up!

lol sounds like there wrong with that i bet u go early like i did with my first, i had know idear i was even in labour cause i assumed it was way to early, lol i walked into the hospital 4cm dialted. goodluck jess,

I'm pregnant with our first baby, due date before scans was 24th September by lmp, the 1st and 2nd scan both said by size due 4th October, then at my last scan they said baby had really long limbs and was ahead in size, and that was working on the 4th October due date. So am I 27 weeks and due in Septmber with an average sized baby or 25 weeks due 4th October with a large baby?

lol thats right she could just be small, just because bub doesnt messure average doesnt mean the date should change... agreed with u there11

The doctor called me Friday afternoon and is sending me for another U/S he's not happy with some of the pictures he says it's a low level machine and sometimes things just don't come out very well so he wants to see the baby on a higher level U/S. I've been a little concerned about this but happy at the same time. Maybe I'll see the baby a bit better I wasn't impressed with the pics I saw either. And the dr said he's keeping my due date Sept 30 and I probably just have a small baby which happens. He's so laid back. LOL!!!

So the U/S tech changed my due date this morning. October 12 and I've been telling people Oct 7 when I thought I was due at the end of September. LOL!!!! Apparently the baby is small. Course I knew that I'm tiny this time around and was kind of worried about the baby but everything looked pretty good. My midwife will get the results and let me know more in about 2 weeks.

so im not the only one glad, its crap isnt it!!! im defently gonna be ready this time.. lol i went into labour at night at home and didnt know 100% if i was in labour, bcoz it was so early, plus he was breech the week b4 so i wasnt expecting it, when i walked into the hospital i was 4cm they broke my water and he was out 2hours later..... it will be interesting this time when she wil arrive, i think im gonna be nervous anytime after the 11th of sep.. lol my 21st birthday LOL

AHHH!! That is exactly what they have been doing with me. My original due date was September 21st. Based on my 1st sonogram, they changed it to October 6th. Now that I had my full 20 week ultrasound, they are saying that the baby and my uterus is measuring 2 weeks ahead and that the date might be wrong. This is not good since my first one was 3 weeks early and my second was 4 weeks early. I kinda need to know when it's ok to be going into labor. If I were you, I would have a bag ready and everything set up no later than the first week of september just in case. That's what I am going to have to be doing too! Good luck to you!!!

By my dates I'm due the 28th of October, by my 1st scan the 4th of November and by my 2nd scan the 30th of October....... So it will be interesting to see what my 3rd scan says!! :-p My dates only very by a week but its kinder anoying not knowing what day I'm acualy due........



With my son my scan date matched my due date (LMP date) perfectly.. But yet when my midwife would feel my tummy I was always 2 weeks more.. I had my son 2 days before my due date weighing 7lb 8 1/2oz and he was "cooked".. After my midwife had examined the placentre and checked him out she said he was acualy 2 weeks over due!!



So this time I just think baby will come when he or shes ready :)

When I was pregnant with my son, one of my co-workers was going thru the same thing. Although the due dates she was given were closer to 4-6wks apart. He was born at a healthy 8 1/2 lbs on Sept 24th, her original due date was the last week of august and then they changed it to oct 1, so don't worry, baby will come when its supposed to.

I'm not really going by my due date, Oct 7th, I know exactly when baby was conceived - only day of sex in like 2 wks. But I'm telling everyone end of Sept because my son came 3 wks early and was just under 8lbs and 22inches. Good luck!!!

I have been given the 27th and the 30th of Sept but having had 2 late babies I am telling people Oct 7th to keep them off my back. So I say pick a date in between the first due date and the last and tell people that with a smile. The baby will come when s/he's ready anyway so the due date is just a "goal" for us. LOL! And a 7 lb 5 oz baby sounds like a happy healthy baby to me so here's to another one. :-D
