I am currently 29 weeks with DS. This is my 2nd pregnancy. With DD I had preterm labor at 33 weeks (constant contractions stopped by Terbutaline) and was induced at 36 weeks after a week of hospitalization for PE/PIH. At my last ultrasound (26 weeks), DS was measuring 30 weeks, which would put me right at 33 weeks now which is exactly where I was with DD when the contractions started. A few days ago I noticed my stomach completely changed, I woke up like "where did my baby go?" he is down so low that when he moves I can feel him REALLY low, if you know what I mean. Almost like I have to pee and feel the urge to hold it in. The day after he dropped (thats what im assuming happened), I started having BH contractions every 3 minutes for hours on end. I ended up in triage where they did the Fetal fibronectin test which came back negative. I was still contracting regularly, but when the doc checked me he said I was a fingertip dilated and my cervix was long, and despite the contractions, 2 hours later I was the same, so they sent me home. They cant give me terbutaline because it raises your heart rate and I have pregnancy inuced tachycardia (my heart rate is 104 when I'm asleep and gets as high as the 160's from just walking up and down stairs) I am now going on day 2 of constant BH contractions all day long. They only stop/slow down if I am laying down, and the instant I stand up they start again and are regularly 3-4 minutes apart. I do not want to go to the hospital just to be sent home again, but this cant be normal...what would you do??
