Looks like my son's getting tooth number 3 and 4 this week. Bring on another round of sleepless nights. Sigh.

going on 8 months and babygirl is still the toothless wonder. she goes through phases of teething phases like everyone else is explaining and couple weeks since about 4 months but still no teeth! maybe next month...

My little girl had her first two teeth by 5 months, my son had his first two by 4 months. My daughter is 7 months now, and is working on her top two. :)

Mine started teething early too like Fiona's, drool galore! And rosey of rosey cheeks. Cranky and tired sometimes. We even had a few fevers along the way. Finally right at five months his first tooth popped up, and then two weeks later (so two weeks ago roughly) His second tooth came out for a day and is showing itself on & off.
We live with baby orajel! And lots of soft chew toys and cold teething rings.

Soon we plan to get him a Amber Teething Necklace. I hear they work dreams.

My son showed signs of teething very early...i think it was around 2 1/2 months that he started drooling and chewing on his fingers- but it wasn't until 5 1/2 months that his first tooth pooped through. He was super needy, and irritable during the process. If I wasn't finding new things for him to do every ten minutes he would complain! He also wanted to be held all the time. The whole ordeal lasted till the width of the tooth had broken up through the gum (about 4-5 days). Since then he had a week of relative peace in terms of pain, and now he's getting fussy and drooling everywhere. I can't see the other tooth yet, so I think he's got a ways to go (if the first tooth is any indication). Hopefully this one is a little easier on him...
