How much weight have you gained?

I had my son on October 1st. I gained a total of 46 lbs although I was induced so I think by the time he was delivered I probably gained more than that in water weight. One week after I delivered him I had lost a total of 34 lbs so my doctor believes most of that weight was water weight and the true weight gain was about 12 lbs. I went into heart failure at the end of my pregnancy, water weight gain is actually one of the symptoms (which they missed) as I was not diagnosed until after I gave birth to him. O is now 10 weeks old and I have about 5 lbs left to lose from the pregnancy although I would like to lose 15 just to be back to a weight I actually like.

I've gained about 14 lbs, and i'm due in March. I was underweight with my first born so that caused me to gain weight like crazy. I gained about 60 lbs with him :O
This one is a lot slower though. Maybe the fact that I had a boy the first time and this one is a girl is part of it?
I was slightly overweight to begin with and My gyno said that it was ok, as long as i was gaining the proper amount of weight and doing light exercise (walking, etc) This baby just seems so much smaller than my first born. and definitely a lot more active. Dont ever let anyone get you down about gaining weight during pregnancy. In the end it can all come off after the baby is born, as long as you still feel good and there are no complications because of it there should be no problem. You;re carrying a baby, wear that belly and big booty proud!! :)

My first one, I gained 60 lb. My second one, I gained over 20. This one, I have lost 2 and I am due in three weeks. =) I think it just means you are healthy. I have never had any bad complications with pregnancy, even with gaining a lot of weight.

Well im 30 wks with twin girls and for sum reason ive gained a total of 6lbs so far in my pregnancy. Im not that big for havin twins, and its really wierd seein how i gained 30 with my first child. I guess you could say im all babies
so far so good i havent gained anything yet, I started counting calories a few mths before I got preg and lost 20 pounds, and I have trained myself to eat fewer calories. I am slightly overweight and Dr said it would be fine to lose weight in this pregnancy, so I am only eating about 1000-1200 calories a day. last prenatal visit I lost 1 pound. =)

Well I'm kinda weird about the weight gain thing 1st pregnancy I lost 18 lbs during 1st 4 1/2 months and had reached pre pregnancy weight of 165 when daughter was born. This time I lost 12 lbs and am now 185 lbs (pre pregnancy was 176) so I have only gained 9 lbs and baby will be born in 4 days.

22lbs is right within that normal range. Sounds like you're doing good! With my first I gained about 35 lbs by the end. I lost about 20 at the beginning though so I was really only 15 over my pre prego weight. I lost the weight really fast too, it was all just water and baby. I am due in three weeks with my 2nd and have gained almost 40lbs, not thrilled. lol Doubt it will come off near so fast this time, but my boy will be worth it!

I've gained 20 pounds so far, and i'm due the 15th of october. I still have a lot of weight hanging on from my first 2 kids, since they were very close in age (this one as well) I didn't have much time to lose the weight, but in all reality, I'm only 2 pounds higher than I got with my firstborn (overall weight).. I gained 65 pounds the first time, which was insane, but the doc said it was not ideal, but okay, because i'm a pretty tall and strong person. Big babies also seem to run in the genetics of the family, which seemed to play a role as well. With no issues, my first 2 were 8 lbs 8oz and 8 lbs 0oz (the first was 8 days late, the second a week early). I'm not so worried about the eight I gain now, except that I'll have to lose it after!

I gained 45 lbs with my son and had a very hard time losing any of that weight afterwards due to thyroid issues. I lost 13 lbs initially and then none for over a year. I finally managed to lose another 15 lbs before finding out I was pregnant with this one. I started out at 203, lost 6 lbs from morning sickness but now I am up to 212. Basically I have gained 9 lbs in 31 weeks which is very healthy considering I was overweight to start with.

I'm due Oct 25th with my 2nd and am only 2lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. My next appointment is monday, so I'm sure I've gained a bit. I lost 8lbs back in April from gallstones and gained that back plus 2lbs. I look like I'm way over 2lbs compared to my pre-pregnancy weight! Guess, it's mostly baby this time. I gained 60lbs with my firstborn!

Hey (kind of slow getting in on here). So first of all, you are still within the range of healthy weight gain for your pregnancy and if you're eating well and exercising, don't worry. I'm due Oct 14th and have gained 20 but am very active so my midwife has told me over and over not to worry about the weight (unless it's a LOT).

I'm due Oct 27 and I have already gained 24 pounds. This is also my first pregnancy. At my last appointment my Dr. said that it was too much and I shouldn't gain more then 6 pounds over the next 3 months, and it has already been difficult. I'm so worried about everything I eat now. I was only a few pounds over weight (according to the Dr.) before I got pregnant. I have my next appointment in a week and a half. And I'm very nervous.

I'm due October 10th and I've gained almost 15lbs.
To be fair though, I never lost all of my baby weight from my two previous pregnancies. I weighed 103lbs when I got pregnant with my 1st child, and currently weigh almost 140lbs.
