What is the earliest anyone has found out the sex of their baby?

I found out the sex of my baby at 19 weeks. Thankfully, he was in the perfect position to tell that he's a he!

Thanks everyone! I went to my appt. on the 4th and dr said I had to wait until my next appt for another ultrasound so I should know by the 25th of this month, I'll be 18wks and 4dys. :)

I found out at 15 weeks and 3 days that i am having a boy and I go back at the end of this month to confirm it.

I found out at 18 wks with my 1st and 20 wks with my 2nd. This time around, I'll go right at 20 wks. I really wanted to go sooner (closer to 18 wks), but my primary midwife is only in the office once a month and it happens to be at 20 wks.... so I'm trying to be patient. TWO MORE WEEKS!!

with my first pergnancy we found at 19 weeks and my u/s for this baby will also be at 19 weeks and we are hoping to find out again (well i will be my husband wants it to be a suprise baby for him)

18 weeks is the general consensis for finding out the sex via ultrasound but a friend of mine found out at 13 weeks with her baby girl from blood tests through the amniocentisis, this was by default because she was in the risk category for her age, her advice was if your not in a risk category then don't go there....but thats the only other way I've heard you can find out.

Ah, thats awesome! Im going to my doctor wednesday and ill be 15wks and 4dys and ive been hopeing id be able to find out at this appt. :)

I was told by the ultrasound tech at 13 weeks that I was for sure having a boy! I guess when it's a boy and in the right position they can tell sooner :)

I think the earliest they can tell is at 20 weeks. I found out at 20 weeks and both were right.
