thats kool my baby is still to young to play at the park yet lol hes only 2 1/2 months old i live right bye that big park up in rutalnd so hopfully further in the summer we well be kinda playin at the park ...

Hey Teka! I'm Chelsea i just moved to kelowna a year and half ago, im 22 and i have three kids my daughter is 4 and my twin boys are 2 i also still dont kno anyone here, i take my kids to the park just they can play with other kids lol

heres some info for you Teka.

MATS 'N' CHATS is an hour-long Gym Time for parents and preschoolers, every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and one at 10:15 a.m - 11:30 a.m.

It's held at the former Baptist Church, 1370 KLO Road in Kelowna. Plenty of mats and equipment are set up for you -- just drop in, and play!

Fee is by a suggested donation of $2.00.

MATS 'N' CHATS is a public service of First Baptist Church. For more information call Pam at 861-5425.

CENTRAL OKANAGAN FAMILY RESOURCE PROGRAM
Held at the Martin Avenue Community Centre, 1434 Graham Street

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:30 am, free, for parents/caregivers with children 6 years of age and under, coffee/tea and snack provided, crafts, circle time and lots of toys! Closed during school holidays.

PARENT TALK
Held at the Martin Avenue Community Centre
Fridays, 9:30 - 11:00 am. Parent workshop held from 10 - 11 am. Childminding provided, on a space availability basis. Free! Coffee and muffins provided for parents. For more information regarding workshop topics, please email Michele Hucul: michele.hucul@thebridgeservices.ca

Welcome to Kelowna Teka. Have you checked out any of the moms groups in town? I know there is one at the Martin centre (Boys and Girls club) and another group called Mats and Chats. I can find more information if you like. I plan on going to some groups come September, I am due with my first June 11.
