I have a little boy going into pre-k at Surrey Hills. Do you have a little one you need before/after school care for? Do you have one in pre-k that needs transported? Do you have another child you need care for? Let me know what days and times you need and maybe we can work something out! I have 2 children in school and one 1 year old little boy. I also have 1 little boy I already watch. Thanks!

Hi Stacy, I am desperatly looking for someone to watch my 9 year old daughter after school from 3:30 to around 5:30 when I get off of work. I have started a new job and am on the waiting list for Open Door at Surrey Hills, however it's not moving very fast... I only need someone to watch her every other week as she is with her Father on alternating weeks. She would need to be picked up from school at 3:30. She is a great kid, however she is still a little young to stay home by herself and she is Type 1 diabetic so she will need someone around, just in case. Please don't let that scare you as she takes care of all of her diabetic responsibilites herself and any questions she has when she eats something she has a cell phone and calls me. She is very mature for her age and a great help with younger children as well. I have looked into regular daycare, and her father and I both had her at Links to Learning in the past. The only problem now is that he doesn't want her to go there anymore and they will require me to pay a full time rate for her to go there everyother week, meaning I would be paying for 4 weeks a month and only using 2 hours a day for 2 weeks... It works out to be extremely expensive for the actual time I use the service. Please let me know if you still are offering childcare and even if you could watch her temporarily until a spot opens up with the Open Door program it would be very helpful. are you lisenced through dhs to care for children in your home? I just ask because i have a few moms who are looking. I am not currently but i know a few who need care for 2 yr olds
