So I was wondering, what exactly should I be working with him on extra hard to help ensure his readiness for school? I don't really have anyone to "show me the ropes" so I'm not really sure what he should already know...any help? I would really appreciate it, thanks!

thanks! He'll be at one here in MWC...it's not the one I was hoping he could get in to, but it'll do for now. After all it is just Pre-k.

I appreciate the advice though!

recognize his name, write his name, know some of the alphabet, counting to 10, colors, shapes. That is a start. Don't worry too much the teacher will work with him on all this. Keep open communication with the teacher and as they go along they should let you know what he needs work on! Have fun I was Home Room mom for my son Last year in P-K it was a lot of fun. What school will he be at?
