Question for anyone with a Pagan Teen

I am a Proud Pagan myself, but have raised my children Unitarian, so that they can educate themselves about different spiritual paths & then choose their own when they are ready. I have a 17-year-old daughter who has been telling me lately that she has chosen Paganism as her path. I believe her & have been gently educating her on the path. However, she has no friends that are Pagan, and she's even in a relationship with a boy who calls himself Pagan, but really is just a poser. I'm concerned the relationship may end up toxic, but I think the main reason she is with him is because she knows no other like-minded people her age. She does have friends, but none are on the same spiritual path as her. Is there anyone out there that knows of any groups (even online ones) that she might be able to meet other teens who are also Pagans? Are any of you parents of a Pagan teen as well? Thanks!
By the way, I'm posting this question on more than one group (sorry if you see it more than once).

Just wanted to say - thank you all so very much for your replies! I've passed all info on to my daughter.

my step son is now 25 he was raised by his mother as non denominational and his father and i as pagan. he went to a luthrean school, as the public schools in our city were horrible. there are oodles of communities out there you just have to find them! search your local pagan supply shops for message boards with things for teens.
they often have dances, poetry readings charity events etc. sigh...sometimes i miss him being a teen. it seemed like he needed me for more than just his laundry! good luck MMMPMMA

My daughter is 17 and a pagan as well. She would love to connect with any of the other teens and share the sites she has found helpful! Her FB page is: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1...

I wanted to post this link for anyone with teens on Facebook. It's new and barely off the ground, but I thought it would be nice for teens to have a place to connect.

I agree. It's honestly been difficult to sift through & find the few sites that are even active at all. It's been really disheartening to her. There are children in our coven also, but they are all closer to my younger daughter's age (great for her as she's growing up, but it doesn't help my older daughter).
And I totally get what you mean about the "playing with matches." That's exactly what her boyfriend is like. He's not a bad guy, but I'm worried he'll pull her into something she'll get really hurt getting back out of simply because he has no idea what he's doing. I'm sure there are other pagan teens out there somewhere that are smart like her. I think a "pen pal" list is a great idea, actually.
I will ask her if she minds me posting a link to her FB page here (yeah, I know it's not a "pen pal" thing, but it's at least a contact point. :) ).

My daughter is 15. She knows a couple of girls who are "pagan" but they seem to be a bit sketchy. Kind of the ones who play with matches without fully understanding why it's hot and then they get burned. Our coven has one girl close to her age. I haven't found any pagan teen friendly sites, but those posted I will check out. Maybe a pagan "pen-pal" list should be made. Something where other pagan teens can email back and forth. Something that allows them to feel connected in a way that social networking sites just don't allow for.

We did try witchvox, but unfortunately there appear to only about 4 links on their "pagan teen" page that actually work, and only one I would even call "active." She's been checking those out. I have to admit, though, we were a little disheartened when we went through that big list of like 30 and hardly any of the links worked at all. :( I think Paganspace was the only one that was current & active, but I'll make sure of that. Thank you very much for the response!

Joy I too have a 17 year old daughter who 2 years ago decided she wanted me to teach her my faith. Now I am a proud pagan as well so I have been teaching her the same as my grams taught me only I was way younger. Unlike your daughter mine has met a few friends who are pagans but that wasn't enough so she started her own facebook teen pafan page as well as listed her group on witchvox. Has your daughter tried either of these social groups or even paganspace? They all might work for her.
