This is 2 blocks from where I live...how do these parents justify this in any rational way????



WICHITA, Kansas - Police entered an unlocked residence near the 9000 block of west Meadow Park Court around 10:30 p.m. Friday where they found a 7-month-old baby who had been left at home unattended. Police had received the report through an anonymous tip.



The 31-year-old man and the 31-year-old woman arrived home shortly after midnight. The parents were then taken into custody for aggravated child endangerment. The baby is currently in police custody.

horrible, lets hope that the babysitter is the one responsible and not the parents!!
i heard of a story like this except it involved a 9 month old baby and she was left alone everytime her parents went to work, from 9-6. all that happened to them was that they were ordered to take parenting classes. they totally shnould've lost that baby!!

If that girl just left the baby there she should be arrested. Even if she did call them and say screw you she should have stayed until someone came home. Whatever happened, someone left that baby alone in his crib. Whoever it was should have the book thrown at them. And what I mean by that is that we should put them in the stockades and throw books at them.

If it comes out that their sitter did leave, then she should be held accountable- unless she called and they said screw you, or screw the kid. Otherwise, these parents should be sterilized!

I just read an update and someone said they had a sitter who went MIA some high school girl from the neighborhood, and that she was the one to call the tip in...That hasnt been confirmed to be true yet, the parents are still in jail at the moment...that's all I know about it thus far.

Where the heck did the parents go?? Glad that someone was watching the house though even if they are 'anonymous'. Hope that kid goes to a good family who will care for it as it deserves. Breaks my heart.
