I don't really care for the baby bikinis but I also don't care if other people do it. The make up thing kind of weirds me out. I put lip gloss or glitter on my girls when were playing princess at home but some people put make up on kids like their adults and it kinda creeps me out. I actually don't think i would post a picture of my kids naked at all. I don't even put stuff like that on my facebook. So many creepy people out there. I keep bath tub pics to myself.

Definite no on make up. Bath and naked newborn/toddler pics are fine as long as the 'vitals' are properly cropped/covered. I have quite a few pics of my girls in their tankini suits on my Facebook and they are 8, but my privacy settings are friends only. For general public viewing? I don't think so.

i have absolutely no problem with bikinis. its just a swim suit. makeup and stuff is a little off before a certain age, and bathtub pics are cute as long as it's a baby and no parts are showing, IMO.

My husband is so picky about what our daughter wears (surprisingly...lol) No two piece bathingsuits or short shorts or short skirts or straps that are too thin. And she's only 2! So no, my 8 year old would not be in the newspaper with a bikini.

I think babies & young children are beautiful without all the "dress-up"... Sad parents think they have to doll up their children to make them cuter or whatever.

Oh this is a online contest so anybody can see it as long as they have the website. I have also notices a huge double standard. The girl are dressed up, posed, and in makeup. They little boy and climbing on thing and even one boy picking his nose.

I think baby bathtub pics are ok, like Krista said, as long as no privates are showing. But that, to me, is only acceptable for the first few years... if even that. I think make-up on children is horrible (and I HATE baby pageants). The pre-teens in bikinis is not right either, that shouldn't be in the local paper.

The makeup ones are definitely creepy. I don't have an issue with baby bathtub pics, as long as they're only from the waist up. I have a few on my facebook of my baby, but you can only see him from the armpits up. I also have a few of him in just a diaper (and one of him in a diaper and a Megadeth hat, as you can see from my profile pic). But I am a lot more cautious than my parents were. My mom has one of me when I was a baby, and i'm lying on the floor, not just naked, but with my legs wide open. And that was in our photo albums, where houseguests could have potentially seen it!



And yeah, the 8-12 year olds in bikinis? No, I wouldn't be putting that in the local paper, either.

I hate make up on children, it's just wrong. While I wouldn't put pictures of my child in a local newspaper half naked or wearing bikinis it does make me sad that this is what our world has come too.

I have heaps of photos of me running around the back yard naked, mum even had some of them in frame in the lounge room, which is just unheard of these days.

I was reading a photography journal when I was at college and a naked photo of a little girl playing in water had won an award but then was retracted because somebody complained that it was pornographic. It was a tasteful and gorgeous photo, not graphic at all. It is just annoying that these perverted creeps have ruined such a natural thing.

I don't think that some people put a lot of thought into things like photos, and how people perceive them, I am really paranoid after having a child, I have my facebook locked up like fort knox and I just deleted a lot of my photos on here because you just can't trust anyone, it makes me sick to my stomach to think of nasty little men getting off on pictures of peoples children.

No way would I put up pics of my girl in a bathing suit. Not for just anyone to see. I was also a little bothered by the very little girls in tons of make up. I just have seen so much about all the perverts out there and wouldn't dream of making these pics public.
