Several tests of several batches have not found the bacteria in any Enfamil formula. One of the babies who died didn't even have formula at all. Enfamil is getting blamed for something they didn't do.

I didn't mean to come across as gruff. Just wanted to make sure that people were aware that stores were voluntarily removing it so that it doesn't qualify as being called a recall.

It is also recommended by the WHO and private pediatricians that you not use powdered infant formula on newborns or neonates. You should use the sterilized liquid formula that doesn't require diluting.

Or breastfeed...that's even better! :)

And I am telling you that stores are VOLUNTARILY removing it from the shelves. A recall has not been issued. I read the little article you posted and I am telling you the news said it was the distilled water used to prepare the formula. I live very close to where this happened

Believe what you want, but yesterday this article I was trying to give you to read says that they are STILL investigating different batches too. Hint hint

I saw on the news yesterday where the distilled water used to prepare the formula was found to be tainted, not the formula.

Stores are voluntarily removing it from the shelves, it is not a recall. I was in 2 Missouri Wal-Marts a couple of days ago and they still had Enfamil on the shelves.

Shyla, it's being recalled in other countries now and they are still trying to track down whether or not it was ALL batched with the same number so now they are still in the process of doing testing. Therefore, we don't know yet. Thanks

Enfamil wasn't the culprit in that baby death.

Wal-Mart voluntarily removed Enfamil from shelves but Enfamil did not issue a recall.

Enfamil didn't actually recall their formula. Wal-mart voluntarily removed Enfamil from there shelves but it has nothing to do with Enfamil being recalled.
