We met in August 2001. First date was September 2001. We basically moved in together a month after our first date. We bought a house together in January of 2002. He proposed in April of 2002. We got married in September 21st, 2002, which was exactly a year and a day after our first date. We celebrated 10 years of marriage this past September.

We got a lot of stick from Mike's family for having kids before getting hitched. As far as we were concerned, we'd made our promises to each other long before the kids came along and didn't see the need for the whole pomp and ceremony. Our wedding was very low key, more a celebration of our little family than anything else.

Met hubby on Dec 27, 1991, he asked me to marry him Jan 16, 1992, moved in April 1992, got Married May 1992 and have been married for 20 years this May. We have beautiful kids 18 and 17 and have had a rocky marriage but have withstood everything that life and Satan has thrown at us and we love each other more today than we did the day we got married. :)



By the way: the way we met was unusual too.....he was standing on the side of the road (main street drag for those of you old enough to remember that...lol) and my friend and I pulled up and told him and his friend to hope in and go for a ride....he asked me out for a date that night and told his best friend the next day he had met the woman he was going to marry on main street....lol)

My mother tried to tell me I was too young to get married (I was 22 and he was 31). I pointed out she was pregnant with her second kid by that age and she shut up. We've been married 16 1/2 years with more good times than bad and we have two great kids so it worked out.

Met to dating time was about 3-4 months. Dating anniversary is May 1, 2006.
Then we got engaged 7 months later. (Dec 13, 2006)
Then he went on a deployment to Iraq 5 months after that. (he left May 18 2007)
A year later he came home (May 11, 2008) and we moved in together about 3 weeks later when we found a place. Meanwhile we stayed at my parents place, so technically May 11th we "moved in" together lol.
We are still not married. We have (as of today) been together for 6 years, 1 month and 9 days.
Our first child was born June 17, 2010 and our second child was born March 20, 2012. We are done having kids. lol.
Our wedding date is set for October 13, 2012.

We met april 01 engaged april 02 married june 02.On the 24th we will be married for 10 years and been together for 11 years. 3 kids 2 dogs and 2 cats later we are still together. Very sweet we both were in army stationed in Germany. We have 3 kids 2 dog and 2 cats. We didnt move in with each other until we were married. Of course spending weekends together but we both had roommates and had toshare barracks room.

I didn't want to waste time dating. I wasn't looking for a boyfriend, I was looking for a husband. The only reason we were engaged for a year is because we wanted to make sure we could get everything we wanted without stressing ourselves out.

My husband & I met on Dec 7, 2001 & started officially dating maybe a week or so later.

We never actually moved in together, because we were so young (teens!) and our parents would have crapped themselves.

We dated from Dec 2001-April 2006 (so, about 4 1/2 years) before we got engaged. We were engaged for 14 months before we got married on June 2, 2007.

We have been happily married for 4 years & together for almost 10 years. :)

I was 14 and he was 15 when we met and became friends...we then started dating when I was 18 and he was 19 (we were 19 and 20 a month after we started dating)...so that'll be 5 years from meeting to dating.

We got engaged and bought our home when we were 20 and 21...so a year from dating to engaged and a year and a half to moving in together.

Then we got married just over a year later (at 21 and 22) because we wanted an autumn wedding and we got engaged during summer (July 05) so didn't want to rush our wedding plans.

From meeting to marrying it was a grand total of 7 years and from dating to marrying it was 3 years. We had been in each others lives for 10 years when we married.

After getting married it took 3 years to conceive our first child and then a year to conceive our second :-)

We are coming up to our fifth wedding anniversary in October and have 2 brilliant children (21 months and 8 weeks).

I got married when I was four months pregnant, but we did NOT get married because I was pregnant, God just had other plans for us : ) . Within two weeks of dating I told my mom he was the man I was going to marry... and even though he can get on my last nerve sometimes I love him even more than I ever thought possible!!! He's a wonderful dad and husband and I'm the luckiest girl in the WORLD!
