This is a bit of a long question i was in a violent relationship but b4 it started 2 get violent i agreed 4 my ex partner 2 take on my unborn child as his own just b4 i had the baby the violence started i was so scared 2 get out of the relationship he threatened me with violence if i didnt put his name on the birth certificate so i put his name down since september 2011 we split now he is threatenin 2 take me 2 court 4 access 2 my son i dont want my son near him n i ainr a clue where i stand

He refuses to dna n i just spoke 2 a solicitor n she said wait 4 a letter from his solicitor n court action will b started all the violence has been noted by the police hes also been prosecuted on the lst occasion of violence but the solicitor said it all looks gd on my part n he has no access rites n that the court will order a dna test n if he refuses just proves he aint the dad n i cant get any kind of order out On him yet as hes not a threat due 2 him bein in jail

This will depend majorly on where you live. I think that your first step should be to take out a PFA (protection from abuse). You can file this at the court house. This will 1) document the abuse for a judge of you do end up in court and 2) keep him away from you (and your child) while you talk to a lawyer.

Talk to a lawyer and get a paternity test proving that he is not the father. I don't know the law in regards to him already being on the birth certificate, but I 'think' you can fix this. Do it asap though because if he takes the baby this will get a lot messier and harder on you.
