Really looking to branch out and meet other mothers around my age.

Im looking to hopefully start breaking out of my shell a lil. I want to meet other moms with children around the same ages as my two(5, and 19 months).
I just dont know where to go or what to do.
Finding other moms to hang out with I think is harder than dating. I would love suggestions or maybe to know Im not the only one out there with this problem and maybe even possibly find a mom or two to hang out with. I just want a broaden social circle for my children and I.

I have a 7 and 1/2 month old and we go walking to the library or parks also we take the max and just ride it to break boredom

Hi Jessica. I feel the same way. I lived in the gresham area for a few years then moved out of state and just moved back to portland with a young kiddo- Evan is 21 months. I have been looking for things to do forever and just not finding what i want.

Well you live in Portland, which rocks! You can go to The Children's Museum, The Zoo, OMSI... practically anywhere and meet new people. You just have to be sociable! Also, if you take your kids to story time at the public library that's another good way to meet moms.
