We have had a very emotional day today. I now somewhat have an understanding on what parents go through. Where do i start?

I say this all the time, Get a GOOD allergist! Do not just rely on what your ped. tells you they are not experts on food allergies. There are also many web sites and forums on the subject. Facebook has a few of the sites and your allergies should as well. Good luck and read ALL labels!

These forums are a great place to start, reading other posts and learning how others cope. I was in the same boat about 6 months ago, so I know how you feel. It's very scary!! Here's a forum I've read and found a lot of information on: http://www.peanutallergy.com/boards/foru...
Basically, check all labels and don't feed your little one anything if you're not sure what's in it. Always have you EpiPen with you! Good luck :)
