I am new to the Phoenix area, actually I live in Surprise. I did not see anything specific to our region for free support. Please use this to post questions and information to assist others in their journey to becoming mothers of multiples.
A little about me: This is my second pregnancy. My first time I was 19 years old and found a wonderful family that adopted my daughter. We are all keep in touch and visit at least once a year. This time around my husband and I discussed the idea of having a baby, and about a week later I was pregnant. I kept teasing my husband, Andy, that we were expecting twins or more. I laughed until I cried when during our 9 week ultrasound we found two babies. It was hard for me to find any good information on exepecting twins, and had many problems with doctors. Needless to say the two are doing more then great. Both weigh at least 5 pounds each at 32 weeks and they measure a week ahead of where they are at consistantly. I recently moved to AZ from CA and now see a specialist that knows multiples. They swear that we are not having babies for another 5-6 weeks. I think they are nuts and that the babies will come near the end of 34 weeks, but we will see.
I cannot wait to meet other mothers of two or more, and hear what advice you can share or need.
