I had this camera for about 6 years or so and I am really starting to get into photographing things animals what ever I can right but the other day I was playing with my camera as I have never done before and I found this function on it which is RAW files or something or other so I changed it to the RAW option and took a few pictures... so now the actual problem is I can not veiw these files on the computer I either do not have the right program to do so or that option is not ment to see on the computer but I really do not want to delete them as they are pictures of my son and daughter on there.... my question is How do you change the file type on the camera as I am not able to on the computer or at least I do not know how too.... Please help

No worries :) I'm glad you got to keep your photos!
I'm surprised printing places can't print RAW! That's strange lol :)

Thank you I went up to blacks to get them printed off as I didn't know about any other way to keep them so I was talking to sales rep there he told me that he couldn't print them in that format either as they didn't have a converter which you need to convert them to a jpeg format so he told which is that best program to us which he uses too at home so ya now I can shoot what ever format I want to lol.... So RAW is a better format to take pics in ehh well I am gonna try that now on thank you

You need to download a program off the internet to view RAW files :) You will probably be able to find it for free somewhere! Definitely don't delete them, RAW is the best mode to shoot in, especially if you like to edit your work, you can do a lot more to them and add filters and everything while editing :) If you are able to find the program, which shouldnt be too hard hopefully, definitely keep shooting in RAW!
