When I was pregnant I lost weight 37 lb Yay me right... Well baby is here and I feel like I am back to where I was before, belly and all. None of my clothes fit me even some of the ones I was wearing when I was pregnant. I feel like everything has fallen at least and inch and all the giggly bits giggle a hell of a lot more. So I am still wearing my mat clothing . And feeling worse then ever. Anyone else having the same or similar problems?

I never stopped wearing some of mine because they were so comfy and seemed to fit me better than normal clothes. Even though I was buying jeans in my size, they fitted everywhere except my tummy but I couldn't buy any bigger otherwise they didn't fit anywhere else.

Thanks :) That really does help knowing that you wore mat. clothes. Its just hard in mat clothing I am a 2X something I have not been in YEARS!!! and then I go to Pennington's/Additional and a 28 wont fit. I was devastated. So maternity clothing it is... for now

It's only been 4 months! Give yourself time, and also realize that your body will NEVER be exactly the same as it was before pregnancy. Yes, things will sag a bit more. You just had your body REALLY stretched out. Give yourself at least a year to recover, and don't be upset if your body does not ever go back to what it was before. You've done really well so far!

And, just a side-note... I wore maternity clothing after I had my son for over two years. Then I got pregnant with my daughter, and I still wear the maternity clothes (I find them much more comfortable). Don't worry about whether they are maternity clothes or regular clothes. As long as you're rockin' it.
