Vanocouver's nice but too big for my taste. Give the Okanagan Valley a try, I'm in Kelowna, BC. We have a climate similar to Northern California and there's tons of stuff to do if you are outdoorsy like we are.

Obama was "heckled" as you say, by the LGBT population who haven't gotten what they expected from him...mostly because he is having a difficult time convincing the right wing in this country that this population ought to have the same rights as everyone else...

And you never answered my question: when was this free-market utopia of which you speak, when things were so wonderful, all before Obama came into office and allegedly invented political lying? You said that at one time, free markets were allowed to work, making America the greatest nation on earth, before Obama came into office. I want dates. WHEN was this free-market utopia, pre-Obama, when everything was just perfectly grand?

And I get a HUGE kick out of you saying that his ratings are in the tank. He has a 49% approval rating. Bush's ratings hovered in the 30's and 20's for most of his presidency, except after 9/11 when everybody thought he was going to go kick Osama Bin Laden's ass (how'd THAT work out, anyway?). Even Saint Ronald Reagan had ratings in the 30's prior to the economy beginning to recover from the recession.

Diane, do you actually research the things you say, do you make them up or do you hear someone else say them and repeat it? President Obama's approval rating is at 49%. You can find that anywhere, it's not a made up figure. President Bush's approval rating when he left office was 22%. Jimmy Carter's lowest was 28%. You really should find out what you're talking about. People like you are spreading lies and ruining this country. It's a disgrace. Do your research, quit repeating things that you hear someone else say. Stop this stupid game of telephone. You'd think that Republicans would be worried that they're ruining their country and their party by not facing the truth.

Jenny I also am for immigration. LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Its called following the law and standing in line like everyone else did that came over. We have laws in this country for your information and we should follow them. This is about allowing people who are BREAKING THE LAW....to jump in front of people who deserve citizenship that followed the LAW in order to do it.
The law is the law it is to bad that you do not respect that. Do you also break laws in your country?

Our borders should remain closed and if people want to become a citizen they can stand in line. I dont care if we do not get a good sold........a law is a law.

You say I do not have the right to tell another what to do? Heck you do it in Canada. You have laws that prevent free speech for crying out loud. LOL
Why should I as an American taxpayer foot the bill for millions of aliens that get free housing, food and medical care. I live on a border state and see the lines of illegals getting free goods.......it's wrong and people are sick of it.

Bottom line Esther.......the polls show Democrats are in trouble. Boxer cant hold her head above water and Obama had to go do damage control. He was just heckled at a speech by his own people this week. People are beginning to see...just what kind of a person he is. His approval ratings are worse than Jimmy Carters...and his were horrible.
America is right of center....and Obama is far left......What was America thinking in that last election.

Thanks for the link to the politifact page. I hadn't been there in a while so I did some browsing on this page which I take it has your endorsement.



Obama has so far broken 19 promises vs 108 that he kept and 257 that are in the works. He compromised on 34 and 83 are stalled. I think that is unbelievably impressive actually, especially in the Washington of today where the GOP has pretty much vouched to oppose whatever Obama wants.

Where did your family come from Diane? Have they been in America since the dawn of time? They must be if you'd deny "outsiders" entrance.



My family background on my father's side is Mennonite and they came from Germany, Russia and Mexico. My mother's side is Austrian, Englsih, German and a bits of other places. The Europeans had already hijacked my nation from the natives so we were let right in of course.



Who are we to tell other humans where they can and cannot go on their own planet?



Second point: do you want no illegals working here or do you want cheap goods? An affordable budget is not maintainable if you pay the wages Americans are accustomed too. If the person packing your meat is making $20 an hour then your price has just at least doubled. You know anybody who'd pay $10 for a Big Mac?

Now Rush isn't my favorite person and I know he puts foot in mouth but lets put it in perspective and give him a break. After all he isn't our president.

I think it's funny that Obama did the same thing......I guess we all say things we don't really mean.

Everything Obama has done has been secret and behind closed doors, or shall we say in Air Force One, where he entertained to get the votes needed to pass the Health Care Law.

America did not want the new health care bill. No poll revealed that Americans wanted the radical changes that Obama proposed. But he did it anyway....and the Democratic party will pay come November.

Obama is a liar and people are just finding that out....especially those that voted for him. I know because many now attend the Tea Party meetings where I live.

Please, please, NO Rush! I'll pay him to go somewhere else! The hubby and I go there quite often and want to retire there half-time (his parents are from there and has many family members who still live there). Ew.
