It has been brought to our attention by CBS that President Obama has tied former President Bush in golf rounds. Twenty four to be exact.

But it took Bush almost three years to play that many rounds...not nine months.

Hmmm....where's all the liberal outrage this time?

It takes about an hour and a half to play 18 holes of golf, on a course with about 5 other groups playing on other holes. Maybe Obama likes golf more than George? I dunno, my dad plays about 3 rounds of golf a day before noon every saturday and sunday.

24 rounds of golf, would take all of 2 months for my dad to play... so in 9 months, Obama's played 24 rounds of golf - and that's assuming it's 18 holes, if it's 9 holes that only takes 45 minutes!

As long as we're picking at the bones of things to complain about... Who on earth picks his outfits! Like seriously, he should be in a suit & tie 24/7!!!

Well...It takes a lot longer than 45 min to play 9 holes.  I worked at a golf course for 3 years.  Unless it's a small course or speed golf....

Our tee times started at 6am and the next set didn't get out until after noon.....that's a lot longer than an hour and a half.

Anyway....the problem, for me, isn't that he's playing golf.  It's liberal response to it.  When Bush was out there playing, it was the end of the world....*gasp*  How could he DO such a thing!!! ....and all the feigned outrage that came along with that.  Hey HuffPo...where are ya on this?

I didn't have a problem with Bush doing it, and I don't have a problem with BO doing it.  A lot of "business" is taken care of on the course.   I do have a problem with libs and the media holding certain politicians to higher standards than others, depending on what letter they happen to have next to their name.  Just pointing out some hypocrisy....

Your humor and sarcasm was duly noted and much appreciated.  Thanks!

My stepdad plays 18 holes of golf every day, rain or shine, starting in April, and following through till November. A lot of people think of golf as a way to clear their mind and improve their thinking as well as getting some exercise. I too, must admit, I never heard about GW being a golfer...I always heard about him being on vacation throughout the first year of his presidency.

Yip, ok we'll go with the average game (most golfers also play 2 balls instead of just 1, per round - those cheaters! :P ) Even if Obama is takin 3-5 hours for 1 round of golf... 24 rounds of golf in 41 weeks of being the President of the United States of America... so, he's taken on average, 3-5 hours every second week in his term to date, to play a round of golf...

I wonder if he's gonna make any funny statements like "now watch this drive"!! That would be funny! Well not really, but whatever lol I'm just bored waitin for Gabe to wake up so we can go to the park lol

I could give a crap how much gold Bush played. What pissed me off were his atrocious decisions and leadership abilities.

I couldn't care less if anyone wants to play some golf, it's very relaxing. And 18 holes does only take an hour and a half, I used to work at 3 different golf courses and I am an avid gofler, seeing as how my dad is a golfing fanatic lol unless you're on one of those... long... drawn out... over 25 acre golf courses that you have to drive your golf cart 15 minutes between each hole, then it might take longer. But even then, chances are the guy is playing golf with a bunch of people he works with so they discuss business, or just have some time relaxing and being "men." hahaha

As far as I can remember there was only GWB incident involving golf that I can honestly say was ever even remotely brought to my attention and that was the whole "I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. Thank you. Now watch this drive" thing. Other than that, I don't recall any media about George playing golf. I must have missed that bit of the War on Tourism :)

And thanks for duly noting my humor and sarcasm! I don't think I've ever had it noted before, but it kinda brought a warm feeling to my belly :D

So Bush didn't play as much golf. Big Whoop. He spent plenty of time back in Crawford or at Camp David. I actually never heard a word about Bush playing golf.

Right! Me either! But, if the right really wants to criticize the president, and do so in a "fair and balanced" way, they should mention all the days Bush spent away from the white house compared to Obama.

How many weeks on end he spent clearing brush on the ranch, managing your nation during a time of war via faxes and the interwebs. Bush also spent more time bicycling than Obama term-to-date I bet, so are we going to start hearing how Obama is promoting bad health with his anti-exercise agenda? ...

Seriously, where is the real news?

Um maybe the outrage is being reserved for real issues. /:) What he does and how he spends his spare time is hardly relevant.
