SIGH, havn't you learned about how people edit videos to make it look like one thing is going on, when in actuality something else ENTIRELY is? we've had this discussion before, are you still so filled with hate that you refuse to believe what is right in front of your eyes. look...

People who target something like this to attempt to make an argument have blind hatred for the person at hand and are grasping at straws in a lame attempt to try to justify the beliefs they would have regardless. I have heard very little relevant criticism of Obama thus far.

So, then, he's a Muslim who's belonged to a Christian Church in Chicago for long enough that he's also accused of having been brainwashed by a Christian pastor (with whom you disagree)....So, is he a brainwashed Christian, or a Muslim? This guy just can't win with you, and you are too stubborn to admit it. He could belong to YOUR church, and you'd find some flaw in it.

And the fun thing is that if there wasn't such a ridiculous focus on the religions of presidential candidates, then this wouldn't have been an issue to begin with. I would love to see the day come when nobody knows OR cares what religion the President is. But right now in the U.S., not only do you have to be a Christian in order to have a hope in hell, but you need to be the right KIND of Christian, and not only do you have to be the right KIND of Christian, but you have to be showy about it and wear your faith on your sleeve.

"No religious test" for office? Bulls**t. There is a religious test for high office in the U.S. -- it's just not "official".

1. The "muslim faith" slip happened before he got elected, while he was still campaigning.

2. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but when I'm thinking about something in particular (Obama was being accused of being a muslim and that was on his mind) sometimes I switch what I'm intending to say with the situation I am thinking about (speaking of faith, said muslim because the issue being discussed involved the accusations of him being a muslim- which is irrelevant altogether)

If the majority of people thought like YOU and thought it was a freudian slip and he is a muslim, immigrant, who eats babies, then he wouldn't have been elected by the majority within weeks of saying it. Most people understand what ACTUALLY happened, apparently including my home state which has only gone blue 5 times in the last century not at all in the previous.. 50 years? It was a proud moment.

Mary Mary...I am not talking about what faith that he is, that is not an issue. This is about what HE CLAIMS TO BE. This is about what he said during interviews with Warren and when he discussed the Wright issue. This is the faith he campaigned with to get elected. Is he telling the truth?
The proof is in the pudding isn't it? And the pudding at least by his mouth alone......is Muslim.

Whether it is right or wrong...he had to claim Christianity to get elected. While this country is ready for a person of color, I do not believe that a Muslim could ever get elected.
He said he was a Muslim.

BUT Diane...why on earth should it matter what a person's faith is? This is another myth about our pres that you continue to perpetuate...but, even if it were trure, it doesn't effing matter, so let it go. It just makes you sound like a sore loser...

No there is no stipulation at all. President Obama slipped and said, "my Muslim faith." The interviewer seconds later had to remind him he was a Christian.

And a great number of people think he is a socialist because he is.

PRESIDENT Obama is a Christian, but, as far as I am aware, there is no provision in our constitution about a Muslim being inelligable for the presidency. We are all SO WORRIED about what he's doing to the presidency and the government...but all the arguments I hear against him are either flat out lies (and therefore slanderous), or constitutionally irrelevant...

Obama is somewhat of a mystery.

18 of the original 40 of Barack Obama's classmates gathered around in the schoolyard against a backdrop on the roof that read "Good Luck Barry".

Picture appears on this site.

About his Muslim faith.

Directly from the horses mouth. Boy is he smoooth, a smooth operator.

http://www.theobamafile.com/ObamaEducati...

He criticizes the bible.........

No one will ever ever convince me that he is a Christian. I can not judge his heart and only God knows what he is...but his words and actions and, his own accidental admission leads me to believe that he is Muslim.

He says he praises Jesus every Sunday..........how about the days in between? lol No Christian just praises Jesus one day a week.

He is the only president to have his educational records sealed. Why? What is he hiding. What could be so bad or revealing that they would be sealed?

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.vie...

He will not release his medical records either.

You know Theresa if Obama would release all the information and made public the stuff that is missing, it might help. But he obviously can't and won't do it. If he was honest and put everything on the table and attempted to prove his claims, this would not be an issue. But he has not done that.

It scares me that there is so much that people believe blindly and I think maybe because they want to believe this about him. This is why people like Glenn Beck and all these others inciting violence are dangerous. Yes, they should have their freedom of speech, but they also need to be held accountable for what they do and say! Obviously there are enough people out there who take what they say seriously. When Beck holds up signs and talks like Obama is Hitler or a Communist, there are people who believe him. I mean, I myself almost was fooled watching his show and seeing the amazing argument he made and connecting all those ovals for me. Ugh.

I see the co-operation part of socialism, but I believe competion has been an incredible instrument in invention and the creative measures that have made American's (many of them) very successful. I don't believe it's communism at all, communisn has nothing to do with co-operation or the collective, if I may draw a word analogy - communism is much like a beehive... all the worker bees serve to sustain the Hive and the 'queen' and in communism it is a bout a society serving it's 'hub' Government.
So I don't believe they are at all the same.

I also wonder why the Muslim part was even part of that poll?

[deleted account]

But a socialist is merely someone who advocates co-operation rather than competition. It's not against the individual. Maybe you're confusing it with communism.
He doesn't seem to me to be a Muslim, but what does it matter anyway?

# 1, I am certain BO's not the anti-christ (maybe in co-hoots though ;) (just joking),
#2 He's diffinately on a socialst agenda, but it's Not the worst thing ever - it just goes against what our constituion was suppost to protect us from (it detracts from individualism and puts things into the collective - our individualism is worth protecting), and
#3 everything in his actions show absolutely that he's definately more of a Muslim, than a Christian. (don't exactly know why that's in that poll?)

But nothing of extreme... and I mean extremes, suprise me anymore, on either side. It is getting really nuts out there.

None of this is really that suprising to you is it? Really?

[deleted account]

Can an outsider (from Australia) ask a question - how do Americans define "socialist?" It sounds to me like it's the worst insult you can give! To me it's never been a big thing, and it's probably what I'd define myself as. What sort of creepy images does the word conjure up? I ask merely for information!

My comment on that blog is - creepy!

[deleted account]

I just heard on The Ed Shultz show, that Democratic members of congress are receiving death threats! 1 congresswoman had a brick thrown through her window and a relative of another congressman had his break line cut! Are you freakin kidding me? Is this what this country is turning to? We are supposed to be progressing as a nation! Why are we going back to the nasty, ugly, ignorant ways of the 50's and 60's! America is not the powerful leader it once was. How can we invade a country and talk about nation building and democracy, when our own nation is falling apart? It doesn't make sense! Are people really that uninformed? Or do they want to believe the rhetoric because it fuels their agendas? I am so confused. I'm ashamed however more than anything. I teach my children that most "adults" don't engage in physical violence and slander when they disagree, and now I can't even have the news on when they're in the vicinity. All they see is picketing, yelling and name calling. It's disgusting! Well the world is watching....America's credibility is going down the toilet fast!
