Grass stains?? lol that is so funny! Josh is just starting to enjoy being messy (maybe because I have finally given up)...oh and the toilet skills-based on my expiernece with his dad-is the EXACT reason he will be peeing like a girl until someone shows him otherwise!!

Mine certainly hasn't! How a grown man can still spill half his food down his t-shirt and get grass stains on his clothes I will never understand! Don't even get me started about toilet directional skills!

Who would know Megs, we live near the beach but he never goes there! Although we also live on a canal, so our back yard is a bit sandy, so he possibly picks it up when he is doing his man things in the backyard!

We don't have any mother's day traditions, it varies from year to year. I was really surprised today when my brother (who has no kids) called to invite us to his house on Saturday for a cookout. He and his girlfriend are going to be cooking for me, my SIL, out mom and our grandmother and our families. It really caught me by surprise because this sort of stuff is not his "thing". But nonetheless, it means a lot and should be a very nice day with "my" family.

I have no idea what we will do or not do on Sunday. I'm just hoping for a laid back low key day with Josh and the kiddos.

I hope all of you ladies have a fabulous Mother's Day! =)

I was thinking about taking my mom and Josh for brunch...but my mom doesn't eat breakfast (bad girl!!) and we having swimming lessons at 11:30 (*cringe*) and j is usually pooped after. So maybe if he starts feeling better (he has been the spawn of satan the past few days) we will go out for an early dinner? My mom offered to take him to his class, so I could have a nap...but I don't feel right about letting her do that-it's her day too! We thought about asking my sister to take him but LOL I would want to be there to see that! She loves him but she is sooo awkward with him. Cracks me up!

No real traditions here, hopefully l get a coffee in bed and will catch-up with my mum. I always get Blake to do some artwork for "Gran" (my mum) to go with her pressie, which I think is probably more appreciated than the present lol.

It's my first Mother's day this year, hooray!! I would like a sleep in and lots of cuddles. No Dana I won't get to see my mum, but I live near my aunty who is like my second other so we might go out for lunch in Noosa (pretty beach) I don't really want breakfast in bed either, unless it comes with my hubby washing the sheets afterwards, I can't stand crumbs either, I make Nathan get up most nights to shake the sheets because he always gets sand in bed eeewww

lol Amie the crumbs do drive me nuts too! I was the sheets every other day (that may be crazy) but my fav. thing in the world is climbing into a fresh bed at the end of the nite! I doubt he will let me sleep in-he's a morning bird- little bugger lol! I'll settle for a relaxing day with lots of cuddles and maybe I will make us a special breakfast-been craving eggs benny!

Breakfast in bed! I think it might just be me, but I can't stand the thought. My husband eats in bed every once in awhile and it drives me nuts. Crumbs.. ick. So I change all the bedding when he does. He thinks I'm crazy.. maybe I am? I dunno...

Hopefully you get to sleep in though! It's always nice when they let you do that. ♥

this is my first real mother's day I suppose. When I was with my ex I got a twix bar..which I had to share lol. I don't know what we are going to do...Joshua letting me sleep in and making me breakfast in bed would be GREAT...but I think we are a few years off from that lol!

What about you NIkki??

No traditions really either here. Ryan watches the kids for me if he's off work. We get cards and a gift for my mom and his. Sometimes my mom will come in and we'll spend the day together, if not we usually spend time with his mom.

That weekend though I can't see me getting much rest. With it being pissing for the last 2 weekends I'll be playing catch up to get the garden and flowerbeds ready to plant. Stupid rain...

That's ok though too! I like gardening. =) Even more so since my kids are old enough to help and keep each other occupied while playing in the yard.

Ok ramble... LOL!

Nope, no traditions here.......I wonder if Chad will remember and get his mom to order some flowers for me since he'll be away at work! That's what he did last year.....super sweet! I think I'm gonna suggest that my mom, Roxanne and I all do brunch.....possibly with my SIL and my two nieces! Girls ROCK!

What about you Nikki? What traditions does ur family have? You won't still be with ur mum on Mother's Day will you?

Happy Mother's Day ladies...
