I want my kids to clean the house. Their messes. But its a big house. I want to bribe them with a tootsie roll. Is this unacceptable? I really want my house back. I will be doing the kitchen. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

Sounds good to me. A tootsie roll is candy. Like the size of a quarter but in tube form ......oh and chocolate. I don't like them, that is why we still have some left from Halloween.

I don't think so, saying lets all clean together then we can all sit down and have a nice snack is an incentive. Saying I will give you this if you clean is more of a bribery think. Of course i am assuming a tootsie roll is some kind of cake thing but really I have no idea what it is!
How you word it is important, more of a lets all do this so we can do this rather than out and out bribery.
