i didnt use a potty!

with my 6 yr old i didnt use a potty and just got him 1 of those seats for the toilet! then at 1st his dad and i just took him in the toilet when we went and showed him it wasnt scary then i sat him on it every time i took him and just let him sit! then he started 2 do his business now and again! it took me 2 months from this point 2 get him dry day and night. i don't know if its right but it worked for me.
as for dummy, i got my son to throw his away himself. i told him the baby birds needed them in the day so he had to put them on the window and when he was having breakfast they'd "disappear". then i gradually stopped putting them back at night. hope it helps! keep calm and you"ll get there! xx
