Welcome to the community! Please take the time to introduce yourself...including your name, name, age & sex of child being trained, and any questions/tips you may have for everyone. I will start.

My name is Rachelle. My son's name is Colby. He is 20 months old and I plan on starting this method of training with him as soon as he turns 22 months. I am wondering if anyone else has used this method with success on a boy that is younger than 22 months? I wish I could start right away, but I am not sure if it is a good idea. I also have a 7 month old son and am wondering how other mothers have done this training method with a baby in the house.

If you go to www.3daypottytraining.com and on the left hand side about half way down the screen it says "Live Help Online Open Chat Box" in a big box. Click on that and ask them your questions. You can't ask mentoring questions until you have bought the book. The Online Chat is to ask for technical help.

"If you have already created an account and are not sure how to purchase and download the book, I would recommend asking questions at the help desk on the website. You have to be logged into your account to do this."
That's exactly my problem, even when i am logged in i have no way to ask any questions. the question box doesn't work.

It is an e-book which means once you pay for it online you will have access to a web page that will allow you to download it to your computer. If you have already created an account and are not sure how to purchase and download the book, I would recommend asking questions at the help desk on the website. You have to be logged into your account to do this.

Hi Tasja, you must be so frustrated. Yes, your daughter is ready if she is over three and no you can never force her to sit on the potty, so it's a difficult situation. It sounds like you have a bit of a power struggle with her and with this program Lora will explains how remind her to use the potty without asking directly (which annoys toddlers) so going potty isn't a battle of the wills. I would highly recommend it for you.

HELP!! This is the 3rd attempt for training my 3 year old daughter, with no succses at all, I kept on for more that 7 days each time. Not once dit she do annything in the potty or toilet. She dislikes panties and don't like walking naked aroud the house, me neather, we don;t have a private place. It seems she cant hold it, she will be busy and she will only stop once its running dow.n her legs. He is healthy no problems at birth, nothing, she is normal. Even when I ask her to sit on the toilet or potty she says no, and I don't want to force her. I even bribe her with sweets and chocolates and stamps, but this is the only time she just isn't interested in reward. She is so stuborn. I can't pick her up and force het to sit on the loo. She needs to go to school in Sept and we are going on Holliday in August, Please help me!! All the books says dot his and that, but what to do if she protess. And sure she is readdy is is 3 years and 3 months.

unfortunately most of what i remember about teaching my big guys was that it was a frustrating and painful experience for everyone involved. with my first i'm sure i did everything all wrong. He ended up, even after being mostly trained, developing a fear of pooping on the potty so he'd hold it for almost a week at a time and we had to resort to suppositories and all kinds of unpleasantness. As i remember it was at their 4th b-day when each of my older boys were consistently dry during the day and then it was at least a month after that b-day before they were dry at night also.
I think that's why i've been a little hesitant to push Cornelius until i know for sure that he's ready but it's not easy to find a balance between pushing and training. It sounds like this program might be a good fit for us though.

This method was well worth the money I spent on it - I highly recommend it. I'd have no problems buying a regular book for that price, and I like that mentoring is included.
I used this method for my 3 1/2 year old (Isaac), starting when he was about 2 1/2. I knew it could take longer for him because he was older, plus he had a language delay and is very stubborn. It wasn't instant success for him but at least we made more progress in 3 days than we had in 1 year (he started using the potty willingly at 9 months but didn't stay dry and never told us if he had to go).
We started our 21 month old (Nate) with this method, a few weeks ago and he got it in half a day. It is so amazing to hear your young child say "potty", find their underwear dry, and watch them pee in the toilet! After only half a day! It probably helped that he was already interested after watching his big brother, and had had some practice, but this was still huge! Unfortunately, he got sick on day 5, before he had fully mastered nighttime and B.M.'s, and then he got an ear infection, so it set us back a bit, but we tried to keep it up, and now he's doing really well. We still have to get him to poop on the toilet because he is VERY subtle and we keep missing it! And we're just tweaking the nighttime routine but very hopeful.
Also, Isaac saw Nate using the potty so well, it seemed to give him some incentive to stay dry and now he rarely has accidents. (He had about 1 accident/day before).
I just love the idea of getting my kids potty trained before they get into the habit of going in their pants! By the time they're 2, it seems so hard to undo habits.

I know. It's true there are a ton of scams. I'm glad to answer any questions for you, even if my situation is a bit different than yours. Getting rid of the diapers will feel so good for you. Do you remember teaching your older boys? It's amazing how everyone eventually learns to use the washroom, but at the time it's such a pain!

I forgot to say that Lora had a son with speech issues and used this program with him, so she might have extra tips for you. Does Archen wake up with a dry diaper yet?

Samantha, it sounds like a great program. i'm not arguing that. I just wish there were a way to ask some of my questions before i buy: make sure it's not too good to be true. there are so many scams out there. I'm very glad that we have some members here who have actually been through the program and can tell us more. It just makes me more comfortable with purchasing something like this sight unseen.

I'm Samantha and I started this program with my daughter Veronica (29 months) on Monday. We had 17 wet undies on Monday, one wet pair yesterday! Woke up with a dry bed this morning and all the naps have been dry too. She did #2 in her pants today though but I was glad she got it out and we ran to the potty anyway and I kept upbeat and positive.

Looking forward to meeting you all. Cara, $24 is nothing for this program. It's worth it. The mentoring is great and the book is loaded with tips and gave me so much confidence.

I'm cara and I just found this method today. i have lots of questions. My 3 1/2 year old, Corneilus has language delays and is still very inconsistent about using the potty. if i can get him to the potty in time he will pee with no problems but it's still a miracle to get him to poop in the potty.

My 19 month old, Archen, is also starting to get in the idea of using the potty. he'll sit on it with all his clothes on and watch the potty movies along with his big brother.

I have two bigger boys also: Caspian (age 8) and Emeth (age 6). They will both be going to Cub Scout Daycamp June 7-11 so i'll have a whole week with just the two little ones and i'm thinking about using this method that week.

I'd like to know if anyone has ever done this with two kids at the same time. After 8 1/2 years with either 1 or 2 boys in diapers i am soooo ready to be done!

I also think it's a little fishy that you have to buy the e-book before you have access to any of the mentoring. I hope we can all help each other out a lot here. Thanks Rachelle for starting this group!
