Hiya! I'm tryin to start off potty training with my 2year old but haven't a clue where to start. She knows that she has to pee pee and poo poo on it but when it comes to actually doing anything, she wont. She just like's to sit fully clothed on it and pretend she's done something. Any idea's on how to go about getting her to do a pee pee????

I'm starting to potty train too. Just for sitting on the potty he gets a M&M. Now he sits on the potty more. I think you need to find a reward that work for her. Anyway, I haven't actually gotten him to pee yet. Also, my husband has started modeling the behavior. I think modeling helps too.

Well just getting her to sit on it is a good idea.. it will get her used to it. after that try little things. like maybe a sticker chart, for every time she goes in the potty she gets a sticker.. Then maybe after so many stickers she gets something special.. It worked with my daughter for awhile until she hit the I'm not going to listen stage.
