big girl undies vs. pull-ups

i have been trying the potty training these past few months it has been a hit and miss with her. but today i decided to but big girl training undies on instead of pull-ups. and it was great. she was dry all day, i would ask her every hr is she needed to go, she would try. the only accident that we had was with poop. we didn't quit make it. everything is going good. we are going to try it again tomarrow. if it goes good then we are on the right track. i will keep you posted. wish me luck.

I just started potty training my little girl yesterday... my grandma had bought me a pack of Easy-ups, but I had decided a long time ago that I didn't want to use those. So, I decided yesterday to just put her in big girl panties, and when she peed, we ran to the potty and I would tell her that we are supposed to pee in the potty. She never did pee in the potty yesterday. She had 7 accidents in her panties. Today, we put her panties on, and I was able to get her on the potty to try the first time she went today, and the second time, she ran to the potty on her own. So I am hoping that we are going to have good luck when she gets up from her nap. I hope you continue having good luck with your little one too. I think real undies are the way to go!!

I have found that the undies let them know they have gone in the wrong spot, gotta change everything when she goes. She will get the idea faster. That wet feeling is a lot stronger in undies than pull-ups! If you have the time put her in the undies it WILL get her farther!

hooray! I know that my little girl became a little slack when we put her in pull ups, because she knows she is safe. We are alot better off with knickers. Hope the success keeps going!
