HELP! I need suggestions for the best cloth training pants. What brands do you like? Is it better to buy the vinyl coated ones or buy plastic diaper covers in addition to cloth training pants. I want to start this weekend. My son just turned 3 and I have decided we are finished with diapers.

Gerber makes the separate underwear style training pants that have extra padding to soak up more mess than regular underwear. They also make the pull over plastic underpants covers. I don't recommend buying the all in one training pants (the ones with the padding and plastic sewn together). Washing those caused the plastic to get small holes in the plastic making them pretty useless. I picked mine up at our local Walmart.
