My son is 3 and does really well using the potty when he is left without a nappy or trousers on but when i put pants on him he just does business in his pants and im struggling how to get him from being naked to wearing pants. It also becomes quite ticky as he hates talking about it he just likes to be left alone to get on with. so i am kinda stuck between a rock and hard place, any advice would be much appreciated.

Awesome! I am at that step now - he can wear the underwear but when he puts pants on too he always has accidents - I'm thinking that he is having trouble pulling the pants down by himself...

Have you tried using just underwear (no pants)?
