try and make it fun. I take my little boy to the potty every 15-30 minutes while we are at home and when he does I give him some animal crackers and tell him how proud I am of him. He knows that if he goes poopie in the potty he will get rewarded and so a lot of the time he goes for me. there are still lots of times when he doesnt but we just started two weeks ago and hes only 17 months. Be patient your baby will get it down soon enough. Hope this helps
