it seems like he waits for me to put the diaper back on to poop in it. Any suggestions on how i can get him to poop in the potty

my son used to do that to keep trying and praising him it takes longer for boys to get muscle control than girls espically in this area natural treats could wrk 1 for a wee 2 for a poo this worked with 9 out of 10 kidsi have had 2 late bloomers this way one a girl and the other a boy but the boy took longer how old is your son

I would use training pants and leave him on the potty a little longer.

If he pees in the potty, why put a diaper back on? Just keep him in underwear.
