Unless your child seems like they're in pain or having been giving you signs that he/she needs to poop but is having trouble, I wouldn't worry about it. My son only poops 1-2 X per week, & he's just over 2, my daughter is the same way, most of the time & she's only 9 months. But if you're really concerned, try some prune juice, you can get the little tiny bottles in the baby food section.

Bananas are Jacobs favorite and it makes him poop. Orange juice works too well for him ;)

give him some cooking oil(teaspoon) in his bottle.it works for me every time.he will have a poo in no time.other than that probi flora for babies works just as well,(powder) over his porridge.Ask your pharmacist.

Thank you for the suggestions! I am very gratefull that he did Poop today!!! I gave him Prune / Apple juice yesterday, baked beans for dinner and Pears for a snack. He loves Banana's and cheese and pasta so much which I don't think help in the poop area. I love the fiber one bars myself so maybe I'll start to share with my son.

I give my 2yo son 1g of a chewable fiber tablet. We've seen a pediatric gasteroenterologist in the past and she says most people don't get enough fiber in their diet. My son also likes the fiber one granola bars.
