my daughter is 2 and everytime i tell her do u have to potty she runs and says no. but i will put her on the potty anyway and she wont do anything but as soon as i put her diaper on she uses it in the diaper. i tried bribbing her with candy and dont work what can i do????

Hello, My name is Rozalin and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and we are in the process of potty training. I agree it is not easy. Some advice that was given to me was to take her with me when I go to the bathroom and make it a big deal when I go. I just started enforces potty training more since she is getting closer to 3 years old. She seems to understand it more. I started by putting training underwear on her. They have training underwear made by carters; they are thicker underwear so if she goes potty it won't leak as much. She noticed that when she goes to the potty in her underwear she is wet and she does not like it. I also have a chart that everytime she goes to the bathroom she gets to put a star on her chart. She like that. Hope this helps.
