When i lay my son down for bed or a nap i have tried putting a zip up sleeper, onszies, pants, everything but he still takes it all off even his diaper and just the other day when i went in his room to get him , he was covered in his own poop, what do i do?

been there done all of that, this may sound bad but itworks, but use tape, not scotch tape but packing tape or masking tape and go all the way around, eventually hell get over it, it is a phase and they will get over it, u'll have to cut the diaper off but at least it contains the pooptill you get to him, that way you don't change sheets 3 times a day

Congrats Mommy! It seems like our son is about ready for training. My daughter was the same way. She now wears pull-ups and we are training. She will only take them off when it is time for the potty. Maybe try pull-ups...just a suggestion but when my daughter started taking her diaper off and bringing it to me with the wipes I knew she was ready.

My littel girl just turned 3 and we are potty training now. She has been taking her diaper off for over a yr now! I understand how frustrating it is and not to mentino all the work of having to wash the sheets, scrub down the crib and give the little a bath! It is gross. I actaully spoke to my pediatrician who told me to use duct tape. The backwards diaper with a onesie over it didn't work for me and neither did masking tape. She was albe to just rip it off. Good luck!! :)

lol duct tape dont work when they rip a whole in the front of the diaper and pull everything out including the pee beads

Honestly we started using pullups when he would sleep and he never take those off! But I was going to use duct tape as my next resort

Our son has been taking his diapers off "just after" he pee's in them, and by then it's too late for the potty thing but we try! Anyways, he's become a little hoodini for taking diapers off too. At bedtime, I've had to sometimes put his jammies on backwards ... which works best with snugabye pj's.. and of course, with no feet in the pj's.. lol... or put an outfit on him where he's comfy enough to sleep and will forget about the diaper short term until he falls asleep. Pull ups do work during the day when he's taking the diaper off every few minutes. Good luck!

Have u tried turning his diaper backwards that what i use to do when he tried to take it off. so that the tabs are at the back and not in the fron see if that works and let me know the outcome.

Is he getting too hot? Try only a diaper, but put it on backwards, of course. I agree with the other moms. Do whatever you have to - to keep the poop where it belongs!!!

Try the good old nappy backwards then the old fashioned tape the nappy on use the paper masking tape though so that you can easily remove it! If that fails do both!

Have you tried a GROBAG? They have ones with tabs over zippers, but it sounds like your son is a little houdinie =)

I used gaffer tape to tape the disposable nappy on, just once round the waist. It worked and he eventually stopped.

Put the nappy on backwards!, I have a 21 month old little girl and she now wears her nappy backwards so that she can't take it off. Been doing it for a while now and she still hasn't figured it out.

The nappy still works perfectly fine backwards so you won't have problems with leakages either.

I heard of one mom putting the zipper PJs on backwards. If he seems ready, you could potty train him, then he won't have a diaper to pull off. Easier said than done I realize. Good luck.
