i dont allow my daughter anything to drink after 7pm no matter what. i dont expect her to wake up in the middle of the night to go. heck i dont even like to wake up and go in the middle of the night. i would just make him/her go before bed and stop giving any liquids after 7pm unless he/she is sick and needs fluids

That's how I did my sons but some people aren't as strong. That's when ice chips work.

Use the plastic pants for over the cloth then your not changing sheets. They also make a pants that both are together.

Stick to your guns. Then let her think your giving in to ice chips or a small amount of a drink. If it goes in it's got to come out.

OR You can wake her to potty.

We are forcing her to go about midnight-1230 am. We set an alarm..sometimes she will get up before the alarm and ask to go. Hopefully it leads to her going alone soon. All I know is diapers and pullups did nothing so we just do undies-who likes to wake up in pee...first day or two we changed sheets here and there but now she is used to it. Hope we dont have to get up with her soon!

when you start potty training don't use diapers at night neither. You change the pants with the rules. cloth in the day, pull ups at night when you see he/she is waking dry then try cloth. If wet in morning watch the drinks at night. NO BOTTLES they should be done with the bottle by the time they start potty training if not way before. pee before bed and as soon as they get up. If that doesn't work wake them up to go potty. usually limiting the drinks and potty before bed works. Good Luck
