We do good in the monings, but it seems after my little guy pees when he wakes from his nap, everthing goes down hill! we'll sit on the potty for 15 minutes with nothing, but as soon as we get up he pees (and a bunch not just a little!) Then in less than 15 minutes he pees a bunch again! we've just started and i don't expect immediate results, but i'm having trouble getting a hang on when he should be going!
anyone having the same experience? good part of the day and a mess the other half?

Ya'll are lucky! My son just started using the potty, and it seems he has to pee every five minutes! As soon as he gets up, he runs to his cup, drinks a few swallows, then gets on the potty again! I think it's a boy thing!

He probably isn't draining his bladder all of the way. I know when I started with my 2yo, we would have to sit on the potty every 30 minutes. Within a few weeks, they were holding it for 2 hours. If you give them extra fluid, then expect it to be more often. The more fluid you give in the beginning, the more training opportunities you will have.
