How often should I take my newly potty training toddler to use the potty?

I was getting frustrated, so one day I just wrote down every time my son peed, whether it was in the potty or an accident. And what I found out (to my surprise) was he was going almost like clockwork, every 20 min. Every kid is different, it might be worth it to write it down for a day so you can find out.

I did every hour and his daycare did every 30 minutes. Around that range is good. Lots of praise and let them watch you and someone else going so they know what they're supposed to be doing. Praise yourself and get excited, it helped with training my son.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

When my son started (on his 2 year old b-day) I took him once every hour and that seemed to work for him... I think it would depend on your child and how much he/she is drinking. Of course after lunch or a big glass of milk you might encourage him/her to go more frequently.

Just ask him if he need to go to the toilet/potty every so often, If that doesn't work, Usualy every 1-2 hours Take him to the toilet. Once they feel that urge to go they usualy tell you when they need to go.

after trying to get my son potty trained we had tried and tried and tried but he was still having accidents. so i started taking him to the potty every 15 to 30 minutes until he got the idea what was going on. also i took him every time he woke up and right before he went to bed and before we went somewhere when we got where we were going and before we left the store or where ever we were and when we got home. he is almost three and he has been potty trained since he turned 2 and 2 months
