i have a 2 yr old kid and he has been peeing for 2 months now but i cant get him to poop in the toilet i have tried everything to telling him he is a big boy to you are going to have a little brother and you will need to show him how to ... to you wanna go to school you need to poop and taking all his toys .. trying to give him candy everything i need help

A lot of information I have read says that it is just habit for them to want to poop standing up. If you put a stool in front of the toliet or use a low potty seat so that their feet are on something it helps them transition easier... So I've read...

I too have had this problem. But I talked my son into, if he goes poop on the toilet, I will give him a piece of chocolate. But if he poops in his pants, he gets time out to think about what he did wrong. So far, its working... and its been a week....

I have the exact same problem! Mine is 3 and from everything I read sometimes you just have to wait till they are ready to make that step.

have you tried making a game out of listening for the 'plop'? i know it sounds gross... but that's how i get my girl to enjoy doing her poo. She also likes her privacy and asks for the door to be shut... so i sit right outside just in case she needs help.
